    Default Gonzo Did Something Right!!!

I know, I know everyone hates Gonzo left and right. But hear this out. They just launched 2 new series BLASSREITER and The Tower of DRUAGA -the Aegis of URUK- . And I was damn suprised how good they both were. Only the first episodes are out for each of them.
But here the thing its release date is the same in both Japan and US. It is currently being hosted on crunchyroll.com
That means you get to watch the latest episodes same as they do in Japan and they are already subtitled. I hope in the long run there 2 good series wont turn to shit.

P.s I love The Tower of DRUAGA -the Aegis of URUK-. The first episode just basically killed all shonen type animes out there! I would have died laughing till the end. Man it was good

Iono is this in the appropriate section.. I do want these 2 series to be discussed as well. Post your comments after you watch the whole episodes.

Spoiler:people had the same impression last year about RomeoXJuliet. See you in a dozen episodes when they've both turned to crap.

I'll give credit where it's due. Gonzo has done some praiseworthy series.

I did lose interest in Romeo x Juliet after about, oh six episodes. And I LOVED the first couple.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

Oddly enough, I've had good experiences with their non-manga based works.

The Tower of druaga really is some decent work and they did some other good work before. i often depends on the director i think, but a hand full of good works do not make up for the bunch of crap they produred.

    about rxj:
i watched it to the end and it had a decent story. it just was not romeo and juliet. the only thing that remined of the orignal were the names of the characters and the title. So Gonzo had better choosen another name since many viewers expected it to be a story close to the original.

Add me to the list of Romeo x Juliet lovers-then-unimpressed.

Well, I admit that the Tower of Druaga's first episode was hilariously funny in its' parodies - it basically did for shounen action/adventure series what The Adventures of Asahina Mikuru 00 did for shounen romantic comedies. But while I've now learned to reserve comment on Gonzo's stuff until they're finished, I guess I'll continue to watch until they bore me.

Manga Genre Focus: Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life. Primarily shounen, then seinen and shoujo.
