It's been a while since the shitstorm that was Odex suing the pants off fansubbed anime downloaders, regardless of age. Seriously... even a nine year old kid? Ah Longs (aka loan sharks), who make it a hobby to smash and deface loan defaulter property would never step that low. Apparently, the sue-happy company's been quiet for quite a while, according to Wikipedia:
Out of curiosity, I visited the main Odex site. For example, since September 2007, Stephen Sing promised to come up with an official press release, regarding the lie that Peter Go and him told about the BFC requiring Odex to tweak it's subtitles to conform with the BFC's requirements. However, there has not been any statement or response made concerning this issue up til this date.

It's been like that for over a month since I started checking. A question to the Singaporeans: I'm just wondering, what's the Singaporean anime scene currently like? Malaysian news hardly mentions matters from Singapore, and I've been wanting to keep track on Odex's operational status. Has Odex ran away from all the criticisms with it's tail in between it's legs, effectively closed down (for good we all hope)?
