    Default Ludwig Kakumei

This seems to have been recommended a couple of times, though I'd don't think there's ever been a thread for it.

The story is basically a retelling of the Grimm's fairy tales, though it's tied together in one universe with a main character, Ludwig, a prince who is exiled by his father until he can find a princess to marry. He's extremely narcissistic and is generally an asshole, but also very calculating and intelligent. The individual stories are different from both the original stories and the modern family friendly version, though it's much closer in spirit to the original stories.

It's written (and drawn) by Yuki Kaori, so the story and art and both pretty good (I do hope that it ends better than Angel Sanctuary though).

The releases seem to be pretty slow, so right now all ten chapters are up at onemanga in case anyone is interested.

I haven't seen mention of this, actually. Is the story as cracktastic (and cracked) as Angel Sanctuary and the Cain/Godchild saga?
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

I haven't read Angel Sanctuary so i can't compear them. But this series is pretty good. like different side of fairy-tails. Or rather Grimm's fairy-tales cause I wached "cinderella" in which a stepmother offers to her daughters to cut off a heel to put up the shoe. And it really was child's fairy-tale.
Value a word. Each can be the last.

Yes, though I can only compare it to Angel Sanctuary. In my opinion it's better than Angel Sanctuary by a fair margin, it's still possible for her to ruin Ludwig with a horrible ending and increasingly improbable plot elements, but since the story is much more modular, I don't expect it to disappoint anytime soon.
