    Default The Ranma thread

Yanno, when you're stuck home alone with the megrims, there's very pick-me-ups that work quite as well as the first couple volumes of Ranma 1/2.

    Just sayin'.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

And that comes from you!? Wait... Yeah, you've probably gotten a bit tired of Yotsuba, by now. Awesomess isn't eternal. It's a bit like Micheal Jackson.

But actually, yes. Ranma ½ is enjoyable when you just want to chuckle at general confusion.

*g* I'd already reread Yotsuba through, and needed more.

yah, ranma is amusing. the problem is it went on for far too long... eventually, instead of being humorous, their situations got repetitive and made me want to head-table.

Fixed to represent her other manga.

EDIT: Try Living Game. It's pretty good and not too long.

    I LOVE Ranma½
Even though 80% of the manga have absolutly nothing to do with the "main" story line, I find every one of the little side stories amusing. Its great, and will always be an classic to me.

    Pantyhose Taro.. *giggles*

echo: That's why I said the first couple volumes.

One day, I should read all the way through to the end. I guess.

What? You mean you HAVEN'T read all the way to the end? Nooooo!! You must! You can't appreciate the full flavour of Ranma 1/2 without Happosai (and Cologne, and Mousse, and Ukyo, and Akari, and Pantyhose Taro, and the childish teacher, and the wacky principal, and the creepy stalker guy, and the animals-turned-humans, and the phoenix prince, and Ranma's mother, and Cat-Fu, and the Roasting-Chestnuts-Over-An-Open-Fire technique, and Martial-Arts-Tea-Ceremony, and Martial-Arts-Gluttony, and Martial-Arts-Food-Delivery, and... and...)

Add "Completing Ranma 1/2" to your New Year's Resolutions.

    -Dizzy-
Manga Genre Focus: Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life. Primarily shounen, then seinen and shoujo.

I got to most of those -- because they're in the first 10 volumes -- though not Ranma's mother. That I need to see.

Right. Time to read the rest.
