    Default Koudelka

who else has read this interesting manga? finally an update after... i don't even remember how long it's been since it's first been posted

for those that liked the distinctive art style of King of Thorns, you'll like Koudelka. plot-wise, it's set in an alternative universe Britain around 1900's (Jack the Ripper was mentioned). The Royal Medical Society is an ominous, evil organization that will go to any means to attain more knowledge; Koudelka is a girl with mysterious powers that escape from their grasp.

I've been following it, but haven't read the last couple chapters because I've been waiting for the one last chapter to be scanned -- under the apparently unwarranted assumption that it'll be Any Day Now. The mangaka also did Chikyuu Misaki, which is one of my all-time favorites, so I've high hopes for Koudelka (despite King of Thorns).
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

Uhn, does Koudelka has anything to do with the Shadow Hearts game series?i mean, there is a psx game called koudelka, and she appears on shadow hearts 1 for the ps2...in fact, she is a key character in the game, well...maybe eh!

Yeah, the manga is a spinoff from the game.

manga is finished, the last chapter just got scanlated/hosted by Stoptazmo.

wellll, i can't say i like how the mangaka likes to shift gears right in the middle of a series (same thing happened in King of Thorns). it was sort of a random ending, but nice to know that it ended... somehow... before it got long and tedious (lol inuyasha).

    SPOILERS FOR ENDING:

The endings not bad. I was expecting a different ways for Koudelka to win but the sudden control and instant win wasn't one of them. I was expecting a bit more of a struggle or a sudden idea from Roger bacon but it's okay. I like how everyone found a better life after the whole crisis.
