Monster or Gantz
Yeah, after I finish Naruto, I plan on reading either one of these. Which is better? (Please only vote if you've read both series)
Monster is good but Gantz is way better.
But monster is complete so its up to you
if you want to read gantz and wait 2 weeks for one chapter
or read monster and like sace up a few extra chapters then start reading gantz
I am King
Up to where it's currently at you mean?
And yeah, Gantz is better, I never got into monster, stopped after a couple of chapters.
Yeah, why? I'm doing 2 volumes a day. It'll take me 3 weeks or so.

You should choose Gantz, In my opinion, its more entertaining and got alot more "deapth".
I personnally think that the drawings are alot more detailed and prettier in Gantz..
But Monster got more Volumes to entertain you if you're looking for something to read for longer time..
I started reading Monster a while ago. It was good, but too slow paced at the beginning. I have yet to finish it, but Secret Toad has a point. It is finished, therfore it will all be wrapped up.
Gantz is still ongoing, but longer. If I were in your position, I would read Monster. Let Gantz build up while you read it.
But if you want some high violence, high octane action. Gantz is the one you want.
Well, both of them are VERY different, if you want mistery go for Monster, if you want some badass action get Gantz
Go with Monster. Forget Gantz. If you like Gantz, you'd have discovered nothing new; same old action with fan service and yeah some plot twists, but hey, if you like Monster, then it means a whole new world of 'grown-up' manga has been opened to you. So, I'd say give monster a try before jumping to Gantz.
What do you mean? Gantz has excellent if sporadic character development, I don't read it for the fights, which is why part II seems pretty flat to me at the moment.

Eh? Have you not noticed the increase in character development since Phase 2 started, Adonai?
Oku has actually started to define his characters.
Kaze, has a whole chapter dedicated to how he feels.
Katou, has most of a chapter of him and Anzu talking shit about eachother and their feelings. Which, in turn is character development for the both of them.
Not to forget Sakata's slight change in personality, and getting to know the Vampires and how they will handle being in Gantz.
I'm sorry, but Gantz has never before been so in-depth, or 3 dimensional if you ask me.
Or is it because the development is not irregular enough for you? Spread over a long time like usual.
I'm sorry, but Gantz is not just your normal action Manga. It creates a new definition for the term 'action Manga'. Gantz really steps out of the bounds in terms of action, without stepping over the line of being overly ridiculous. [If you have ever read Grappler Baki, you know what I mean by this]

Only, Seinen, or adult Manga I can think of that is somewhat similar to Monster, are MPD Psycho, and, err, Homunculus.
