    Default Gintama!

    Wah T_T !!!

How come it so hard to find any scanlated chapters for Gintama, we're currently stuck at Chapter 41!

I wish someone could point where we could get them. Though the good people at Rumbel Fansubs are doing us people a great service with English subs for its anime series.

Do they look like a perverted hermit's fingers to you? They don't cuz they're SUPER PERVERTED hermit's fingers, and they perform manly wonders you mere mortals never dream off, hehe.

I wish people could read the Misc. Series rules, since there's only something like two of them.

Thx for the clarification, and sry about this, I only registered yesterday. I didn't notice the link for the the download request until just now after reading your msg.

I just wish they got more Gintama, and I'll be shouting for more on the requests page.

Good thing you pointed out the rules. Just read them as well a minute ago.

    Thx.

i still dun get this series, i mean the drawing is half decent but theres no real plot or story and the themes are kinda boring after the first few chapters.

Stoptazmo doesn't scanlate Gintama...they only host. And as it goes, it's one of the harder manga series to translate because of all the references it has to Japanese culture, folklore and other anime/manga series-a lot more than your typical series.

I dont like this manga! It is not that funny like the kind that makes you laugh out loud, where some manga like Slam Dunk and One Piece actualy do.
There is no story line just a mission for every chapter, I thought it was going to develope a main storyline like bleach, but nothing so far. I wonder why people like it

I actually like the lack of storyline; that's a kind of manga that I've been waiting for! ^_^ And I do think it's mostly funny, too. There are some characters and storylines that I could do without, like that scary cat thief, but generally, it's enjoyable and light-hearted - I totally would not have expected it from any description.

Am I really the only one who has always wanted a manga with no real continuous plot?

I like it because it's senseless and different. Bleach is contemporary and pretty typical shounen but Gintama just doesn't follow any order. And I do find the anime hilarious.

You're probably gonna have to keep waiting for one of those. ^_^ unless I'm very much mistaken ^_^, Gintama does indeed eventually develop a storyline concerning one of Katsura and Gintoki's former comrades.^_^

But it'll be a couple of years before scanlations get that far anyway ^_^, so you can remain content for now. ^_^

Oh darn. Does it at least keep the style of really short arcs over one or two chapters that don't really connect to one another? Either way, there's been enough fun in the chapters that *are* there, so I'm happy. And it's very creative, too - aliens in the late-19th-century Japan? xD I love how none of the characters have any really great or stereotypical qualities, too. They're just so funny.
