    Default Serious Mangas

Hi, i'm looking for more ''serious'' mangas with a good story and not too childish ( one piece, naruto and stuff), i think they are called seinen ?

I read alot of mangas some years ago, and now want to begin reading again. As i see there are alot more mangas for download now, so i thought i would be good to ask for some recommendations.
Here is a List of Mangas i like :

    -20th Century boys
    -Beck
    -Vagabond
-Battle Angel Alita ( Last Order is even better ! )
    -Blade of the Immortal
    -Shamo

    I would appreciate some help.

the usual: Berserk, Eden, .. i'll toss in Shin Angyo Onshi. and if you liked 20th Century Boys, you'll like Monster (which is better, imo)

No, seinen simply mean manga aimed at an 1830 year old male audience.

I hardly believe that Yotsubato! counts as a serious manga shautieh...

And personally, I recommend you Me and the devil blues. It's a great manga that is sadly overlooked by many.

Shauteih, did derive your list from baka?

As for "serious" manga, I guess some are berserk, zetman, Battle Royale, Death Note, Gantz, cowboy bebop, elfen lied.

I'll toss in Appleseed, The Legend of Mother Sarah, as three examples of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind post-apocalyptic serious science fiction series.

Also, try Hotman if you want a non-violent series set in modern day life, just about daily struggles.

Manga Genre Focus: Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life. Primarily shounen, then seinen and shoujo.

    Maison Ikkoku is seinen, if not serious... but it isn't at all like the shounen adventures that you said you didn't want. It's good if you ever want a break from action and violence without changing age groups. ^_^;;
