    Default Claymore

Nice manga, though there isn't as much detailed work as in Berserk but still good, great anime so far.

It reminds me so much of Berserk and Basilisk.

Anyone know of another manga similar to claymore or berserk in art and genre? I got sick of harem and romance-comedy so i think i'll change genre for a while.

    thanks,

Claymore reminds me of D.Gray-Man. It really does. And I guess FMA is like that too... a bit... but those are two really unique and amazing manga (Claymore and Berserk). What parts of them exactly are you interested in? The adventure themes? The characters? The fighting? I'd assume that you're looking for a kind of action-adventure with serious/mature (er, referring to violence and stuff) themes, but I could be wrong. (In that case, see the two manga above.)

Alternately, you could try searching Manga-Updates for manga of similar genres ("Action" and "Horror" from Claymore, for example... I'd recommend Hellsing, Inuyasha and Variante. "Action" with "Fantasy" from Berserk brings titles like Bleach, Chrno Crusade, Kurohime, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and Vampire Juuji Kai). Give that search engine a try; you might find interesting manga. :3

    ...

Maybe you should change the thread title Neuro, it can be misleading since there´s already a Claymore thread.

hmmm. well being an anime/manga fanatic i already seen most of what digital_eon listed all except Variante.

My genre: the horror, slaughtering, the adventure and maybe a slight casual romance in there somewhere (like the brief scenes between Edward & Winry in FMa, the flings between ガッツ & キャスカ (i think the katakana is correct, straight from RAW manga)in berserk and such, not too much romance cause i just got sick of too much harem)

You just described Gantz. the art is easily on par with the two series, but it is a different style. It uses more shading tones. Also has the same amount of shock factor as the two Mangas.

Also look into Dangu, AKA Shaman Warrior, ( give it a volume or two if the first didn't get you into it).

Vagabond. Again amazing art, good storytelling. Samurai manga.
