Karin. That manga is really good and funny. ^_^

Vampire Juuji Kai is a pretty interesting manga. Sequence is a good story, although very incomplete. Rosario+Vampire is a decent comedy, although with a little too much fanservice (and it's only got one vampire, although she's the heroine). I do feel that I should mention Vampire Knight, because while it is a shoujo, it's not that bad (and it's about vampires).

I hear good things about Trinity Blood, but I haven't been able to enjoy it.

And in the category of has-a-vampire-as-a-non-hero-character...

Chikyuu Kanri-nin has A vampire... although that's sort of a general kind of unusual creature manga. Still, it's got one. Nanaki has a vampire arc that lasts an entire volume out of three total, but again... Mahou Sensei Negima! also features a vampire character who actually shows up fairly often. (I also feel that it is necessary to say D.Gray-Man, because I love it so much. And honestly, there's a vampire in it, so there you go.)

There's no such genre as "vampire manga" as vampire stories come in so many different types (although the common ones are action/horror, comedy and angsty prettyboy shoujo). You need to specify what you're looking for if you want the best results. But here's my 3 favourites anyway:

*Shingetsutan Tsukihime: The manga is probably the best version of the story- far more graphic than the game (which needed a LOT more CGs) and not nearly as stripped-down as the anime. The fight between Shiki and Nvnqsr/Nero has never been cooler.

*Lament of the Lamb: Not REALLY a vampire manga per se as the main characters are just humans with a genetic disease that makes them lust for blood, rather than genuine vampires. But it's still just a plain awesome story, especially if it's the bloodlust that appeals to you. A touch slow, though.

*Vampire Doll: Guilt Na Zan: The funniest story with vampires in it ever. In fact, one of the funniest manga ever, probably in the top 5 comedies I've ever read.

I'm guessing you prefer action-y vampires rather than kawaii ^_^ bishie shoujo vampires.

I recommend you watch Vampire hunter D bloodlust even though it is not a manga, and also read Jojo's bizarre adventure (not conventional vampires).

Also do give Blood Alone a try.

edit: forgot about the melty blood manga. That's quite good aswell.

I do prefer the action type. But a little shoujo isn't all that bad. I'm kinda liking Vampire Knights right now ^^; Thank you for your suggestions. Blood Alone sounds interesting...

    Master of Mosquiton...

and of course Gantz, although the vamps are the enemy here and are considered "aliens" along with other monster...

i would also say Blood+ and Blood the last vampire, but sadly i haven't read them yet, just thought i'd share some titles that i would read in the future...
