for any one who like KING OF THORNS
it is being translated by strays but only 1 update per month i think
since i can post link just search for straysscans and you'll find it
What's the point of this?
The point is that King of Thorns is win and it is great news that a group has begun scanlating it again.
Thanks for the info emporerstyx.
it looks like king of thorns is finally being updated.
for those that haven't read this the first time around, it's set in a post-apocalyptic world, where every corner is filled with odd dangers. a group of people just awoke from cryogenic storage, hoping that the future would contain a cure for a widespread terminal disease from the past.
the artwork is unique (in a nice way), and the plot and characters are really intriguing. i would suggest giving this a shot.
ALMOST sounds like Blue Gender

Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.
i have read king of thorns.
and first i thought it was very intreresting, i drunk in every chapter i could get. An interesting post apocalyptic story about the last humans on earth, who were in stasis champers for a pretty long time (so it seemed). It seemed that the animals on the planet had evolved to new species. And since all characters had the same deceas in their veines, so they would die.
a small group of people alone in a world that is not any longer theirs, with a decease that will kill them for sure.
A awesome and excellent plot for a story. (and the art was good too but thats unimportant)
Well, i didnt went that way. The story now is a crappy piece of shit
Now the story went from scfi to mystic and back withsome overpowerd girls, that can manipulate reality because they are infected with the same decease.
Apperently not all humans are dead, not much time has passed since they entered the stasis champers, and all we saw was just the wish-monsters and wish-thorns from some brat, and so on and so on.
i've never seen a mangaka who can destroy a good plot that effective.

What the... girls with superpower ._.?
I haven't read to that point yet but... i don't like the sound of that.
Characters manipulating reality with imaginary thorns and monsters...I wouldn't like the story going in that direction either.
I started reading this because it looked like it would be a straightforward post-apocalyptic tale of discovery and survival, with the element of the killer disease added which gives the story a greater sense of urgency as the survivors search for a cure before their time runs out.
