Default Looking for a post-apocolyptic manga.

I am in the mood to read a post-apocolyptic manga. Can anyone suggest one to me?

(i did use the search function but it didn't show any results. I may have spelled it wrong though. Also i rarely make posts let alone create threads. So please don't flame me. I see LOTS of that on request threads.)

High School of the Dead for a zombie post-apocalypse.

But of the other ones, I must say Eden is the best.

Eden is the best even so there are too many humans alive in Eden. Somehow it cannot be called post apocalyptic if only 30% of the humans died.

that still makes: some billions left alive.

Akira, Evangelion and Japan by Miura and Buronson (Many people love Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou but I didn't like it at all, but perhaps you should read a couple of chapters, just in case...)

    Eden's very good.

20th Century Boys also has a somewhat post-apocalyptic storyline in the later volumes.

I second Eden, Akira, and 20th Century Boys.

There's also Agharta and The Legend of Mother Sarah (by the same mangaka of Akira).

Thankyou. But i think you misunderstood me (or it could be my fault) But I am looking for something more along the lines of rebuilding the world and restoring civilization.

They didn't misunderstand, you didn't explain properly.

Um, I don't recall reading, or hearing about Manga that deals with the restructuring of the world. But 'Blame', has something like that.
Post-Apocalyptic Mangas carry the same tones, survival, Adapting to the new world.

Akira, and Eden, have a theme similar to what you want, trying to rebuild a war struck country/world.
