    Default Y10m

    Does anyone else read it?
Its by the same artist that did Basilisk.
It seems like a good book but its been at 4 scanned chapters for a long time.
Does anyone know anything about it status?

Could you give us more information regarding the title. If its interesting enough, I might try and get a hold of a few chapters.

    from mangaupdates:

Same art style, and almost the same plot beginning only now it male versus female. I'm telling you this has the same crazy ass blood and gore we saw in Basilisk. Girls who were someone's child, wife, servant got their male counter parts killed by some crazy weapons and dogs, yeah you heard me right, dogs weilding ninjas. Revenge is on the agenda and lets see how they are literally gonna slice and dice the guys

genre : Action, Martial Arts, Seinen

I just got the Del Rey Manga newsletter and its seems like they have picked Y10M under the name of The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls: Revenge of the Hori Clan and will be releasing the first volume in November 2007.
    Here's the press release:
    UNFURLING THE YAGYU NINJA SCROLLS

As you know, Futaro Yamada and Masaki Segawa are the genius creators behind our fan-favorite manga Basilisk, the tale of star-crossed lovers and warring ninjas that inspired not only a breathtaking anime but also a brilliant live-action movie. Del Rey Manga is delighted to announce that we'll be publishing another fantastic series from these creators: The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls: Revenge of the Hori Clan.
A rebellion in Aizu Territory is brutally crushed, leaving most of the nuns in a local convent slaightered. Most of them. The surviving nuns will have their vengeance and for that purpose have dedicated themsleves to the study of the deadliest of ninja arts. Pity those who stand against them now.
Look for the first volume of this tale of ninjitsu and nunnery in November!

I cant wait to be able to buy this because it seems like its not being scanlated anymore and from what I've read (4 chapters) it seems like a good story.

I read the first 4 scanlated chapters, and I thought it was quite boring =/. It'll probably get better, but from the smidgeling that was those chapters all it was, was just killing women or some such.

Well, I havent really read all of the scanlated chapters because I was hoping they would eventually finish the first volume but the artwork is just as good as whats in Basilisk.

Hmm, I wouldn't be too optimistic. It seems like the authors are just riding on the success of Basilisk. I mean, check out the chick on the Volume 1 cover. She looks almost exactly like one of the ninjas from Basilisk.
