Junji Ito manga sounds interesting~ I should check it out~
Oh yeah. I meant you only see the shadow of it taking place on a wall or something, it isn't shown directly.
Yes you should definitely check out Gyo and Uzumaki. They're both great reads but very short.

...no, you definitely see it. ^^;; I even went back and checked. (Because I'm a fangirl, you know?)

Very short? Well, that probably makes them scarier, ne?

yeah you're right actually. I remember in the first chapter there's this page showing the shadow of an akuma beginning to climb down a nun's throat.
Maybe it's your typa thing, but a butt naked loli masochist asking to be eaten, and constantly ripping out her entrails is a big nono with me.

A good horror / Psychological manga would be battle royal: imagine if you had to fight to death with the freshmen class with only a boomerrang....truely horrific(especially with the kami-chararactor wit the freakin TECH-9). Good mix with gore and phychological breakdown. A worth while read!

I second Tomie. I found it pretty freaky in a skin-crawling kind of way.

I also really like Vulgar Ghost Daydream, but I only recommend it if you're >16 years old (mature content).

Um...i don't know about D. Greyman since i only read like one volume, but last time i checked, naruto and Bleach definitely don't qualify as any of those...they're nowhere near horror, let alone psychological....watch evangelion for a psychological anime/manga, or i dont know, blood or hellsing for horror, but not naruto or bleach....
