    Default Mangaka Team Up

I was thinking of making an april fools thread about Hiroya Oku and Masashi Kishimoto teaming up to release a new manga (since i know most gantzers on this site hate naruto XD ), but then I thought about it and I really wish something like that would happen. Which two Mangakas (or three even) would you like to see team up to make a manga?

Personally I think the most awesome manga would be from Oh! Great on artwork with Eiichiro Oda and Hiroya Oku on story. With the three of them together its automatic pwnage, Oh! Greats flawless art style means itll be gorgeous with Okus twisted mind means itll be graphic and mindbending, and Eiichiro will make it funny and interesting all at the same time.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

    Interesting.

Along those same lines I'd like to see Oh!Great along with the author of Bo Bo Bo (what's his freaking name?) and Miura (is that what the name of the author of Berserk is?) together for a Seinen manga.

Another team up I just thought of was Oku, Akamatsu and Oh!Great. If that happened I don't think we'd see any plot though; just random fan service.

well if you're talking about the ultimate fanservice which would still be considered a manga i guess it would have to be Oh! Great, Akamatsu, and the guy who does Futari Ecchi.

anyway i definitly think Oh! Great, Oku, and the guy who does either Berserk or Eden would be great.

Azuma Kiyohiko's script and Obata Takeshi's art -- funny, kinetic, AND stylish. Not that Azuma-sensei's cartoonish style is a BAD thing for the type of humor he does.

I.......don't know about this, from the mangas I've read of these Hiroya and Oh! Great fellas (gonna read Berserk someday too), I believe that both came from the same manga School. I mean, both are pretty detailed and graphic with their gory splattering and boobies sizes, both bend the limits between what's a manga and plain Pron and most of all, both take a hell of a time to release their respective mangas......the lazy bums!!!!! (I'm still waiting for new plot development in Tenjou Tenge you Oh! Great bastard!!!!!..........same goes for you Oku, stop fapping around and draw some Gantz, dammit!!!!)

So yes, Oh! Great is a helluva mangaka, but so it is Oku..............add some kobayashi Jin mindless humor to the mix and you get yourself a cookie.

A gory hentai mindless cookie that is.....

Most of the teams you guys are proprosing would probably kill each other before they could even release a chapter XD. Like Oku, Oh great and Oda working together is inconcievable. Oda's passion is shounen in it's truest form, he wouldn't ever work on something dark and sleazy with Oku.

The only kind of mangaka partenership I can see working is one guy doing the drawing and the other telling him what to draw. Like the arrangement the creators of shinangyo onshi have going on or how Hokuto no ken was made.

I'd like to see Oh great and Tohru Fujisawa (GTO) to become drawers because Oh great couldn't write to begin with and I think Tohru fujisawa's lost his muse or something. Actually, on second thought, Oh greatís art is quite overrated. He may have mastered impact, and can draw humans very well, but all his women have the same body so it gets samey after a while.

I would however be quite interested in seeing something done in this manner with the guy who did narutaru and bokurano doing the story and Tohru fujisawa doing the drawing. I think the man behind narutaru is an excellent storyteller whoís art ( at least when drawing people) lets him down, and perhaps working with somebody like that would give Fujisawa the creative spark he needs to write his big comeback.

Even so, I still can never see that happening because Iím certain that most mangakaís take pride in all of their work, and would not want to admit defeat by having somebody draw for them. At least, thatís my take on it anyways lol.

...Obata Takeshi and Hoshino Katsura... ^^;; Digi's favourite artists!

Somehow, I'd love to see Kobayashi Jin and Takahashi Rumiko team up for a manga. It would definitely be insane - and how that works out, I don't know. (Or either with Mashima Hiro. Insanity! <3 Actually, I wonder how Mashima-sensei would create a manga with Kubo Tite... Rave meets Bleach...)

Hm... Miura and Yazawa Ai... that'd be interesting...

i wonder what would happen if Masashi Kishimoto, Tite Kubo, and Akira Toriyama teamed up XD ... Pure unadulterated shounen bliss.

    Kentaro Miura...and Naoki Urasawa.

The world would explode from the awesomeness.

Also, imagine Urasawa combined with the creators of Death Note. That would be godlike.

Or, perhaps, Death Note, by Naoki Urasawa.
