    Arrow Fairy Tail

    About:
Lucy is a 17-year-old girl, who wants to be a full-fledged mage. One day when visiting Harujion Town, she meets Natsu, a young man who gets sick easily by any type of transportation. But Natsu isnt just any ordinary kid, he's a member of one of the world's most infamous mage guilds: Fairy Tail.

I don't know why there is not a lot of buzz about this series. Although it has the same type of art as Rave and One piece, It is somewhat an original story. IT is from the same mangaka as Rave, though i think he is just a copycat since Op came out 2yrs. before Rave.

Still this is a great manga

This would be one of my favourite series if it were longer - this is REALLY interesting. Good characters, interesting plot - it does remind me of One Piece, although I prefer the characters and jokes in Fairy Tail. So far, it has interesting arcs, and I'm a little anxious to see where this is going - will it be fairly short, or will there be a major enemy to fight?

And I'd just like to place a bet now that the male protagonist in the manga-ka's next manga is named Aki, or something similar. But anyways~

I read a couple pages and it reminded me of Rave Master. I'd prefer to finish that or go read Katekyo Hitman Reborn thank you very much.

Did you like RAVE?? If you dont like RAVE then i'll understand you not liking this series because I've been saying for a long time that this mangaka is a Oda-copycat. HIs artstyle is a straight-off rip off oda's.

But if this doesn't bother you, This manga is really good. I think it should be picked up. And its a weekly series. Also the storyline is original. but it is yet to be seen if it'll be as long as OP or RAVE.

That's debateable. OP started serialization in 1997 and Rave in 1998. It's not like Oda did chapters every week so his style wasn't as refined as it is now. I don't think that he is a copycat; they could have just been inflenced by the same things like the Kishimoto brothers.

I would change that comment about adding the manga if I were you.

I could've sworn that Baka-Updates used to say that the manga-ka used to work for Oda on One Piece... assistant or something. Hm. Maybe it wasn't true?

Still, they're all good manga. If One Piece is good, and Rave is good, and this is like One Piece and Rave, logic says, and so does reality, that it is a good series.

i have not read rave so i don't know, but in this mangaka didn't just copy Oda's style, he copied some characters as well (i'm going to simplify things here, but i instantly thought about nami when i saw the greedy heroine, and the hero is just luffy with ace powers)

i have read 4 or 5 chapters, and while i appreciated the humor, the action scenes were lame (in the beginning on the boat and later against the 2 ridiculous hunters)
i hope it is better later on
