Okay, this didn't make ANY sense to me, not the manga but the fact that the manga was canceled!
This manga was awesome! It had a great plot (the rings of the dead), pretty good art (reminded me of Trigun), and awesome weapons (the chainsaw sword was pretty original [okay not really] as well as the idea of armor skin) Granted there were some downfalls, a slightly unoriginal cast (guy with big sword whose also invincible, and a girl with physically immpossible boobs, and some kid who follows in the hero's footsteps, suprised there?), often used cliches, and it WAS a bit bloody for a shonen jump manga (pussies).
My point is, I don't understand why shonen jump would keep other useless mangas in their magazine for YEARS, but not Zombie powder?
what about you?
love it or hate it?
It depresses me every time someone brings this up, I would gladly trade every chapter of Bleach for more Zombie Powder. I miss CT smith who sets bombs by intuition.
Do you want to know why?
Kubo Tite was in a depression when he was writing/drawing Zombie Powder, which eventually led to him dropping the project all together.
Why do mangakas have to have personalities and problems and shit? I know... Mangas wouldn't be very good if the people writing them were brainwashed, but... It's sad when this kind of stuff happens.
Compared to bleach right now it is better, and it's definitely superior to the bleach pilot chapter, wonder why he made the switch. Even if he was depressed he obviously got over it if he's currently producing a weekly manga.
It might remind him of whatever depressed him so he keeps away?
I like bleach, I'm not a hardcore fan of it, but it's not bad.
I guess Tite is bound for greatness no matter what manga he makes?
Stop being so negative, its not like he cant pick it up where it left off or anything... =\ ... right?
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

Sorry, I seem to have some minor cold symptoms lately.
Actually I'm sure it just wasn't popular. I hear that the people who do the jump measured it by the fan mail it got which was pretty low compared to other series so they put it to a end.
