Animalia555 again I am still looking for Japanese to English translators for Tokyo Underground volumes 8-10. Here is a description from wikipedia: PM me, or reply if you are interested.

Also the first 6 volumes have been Scanlated and are avalable at The Evil Empire's ongoing manga section. To acess it you just need 10 posts, or a one dollar donation.

P.S. BEFORE you get the idea that this is another Tazmo the donation is ENTIRELY OPTIONAL as you can just do the posts.

(We will pick up new series after we finish School Rumble Ni Gakki) Currently, I need a translator to translate the episode for the group. here is the description

The series tackles a world which is under Tokyo's underground railway system aptly called the Underground. The people living there are called Elemental Users because they can manipulate various elements.

When the Priestess of Life, Ruri Sarasa, and her bodyguard, Gravity User Chelsea Rorec escape to the surface and take refuge with swordsman Asagi Rumina and his bespectacled best friend Isuzu Ginnosuke, the lives of the two boys are never the same after Rumina was killed during a battle with a henchman then resurrected by Ruri.

They find out that Ruri is a very important person in the Underground and is being pursued by evil powers there. Grateful for Ruri and his newfound Wind powers, Rumina vows to protect her, even if it means going to the Underground to rescue her from her eventual captors before she gets sacrificed.

A new group which I represent was on the verge of our first release and we were fine tuning the translation when we lost contact with the translator. The project is Shadow Skill Invincibility Fire Ball here is a quote about it from wikipedia

Shadow Skill (シャドウスキル－影技－), is a manga series with anime adaptations, created by Studio Deen and aired on Japanese Television in 1998, and has been released in the United States by ADV Films in 2005. The series is based on the manga by Megumu Okada. A shonen series, it features a lot of combat, especially martial arts.

The main protagonists of Shadow Skill are Elle Ragu, the 59th Sevalle in the kingdom of Kuruda, and Gau Ban, an orphaned boy that Elle takes up as her adopted brother. He is currently a Valle and is improving his training. Gau is so impressed by Elle's fighting skill, and the stories of Kuruda's greatest fighter Scarface, that he is studying Elle's fighting skills so that one day he would become the greatest Sevalle in Kuruda. But before that, they must face demon beasts, spies, and Elle's debts from drinking, and collateral damage from fighting.

Also in Elle and Gau's life is Faury Maya (Folli Maya in the TV series), a Sui Rame talisman sorceress, and Kyou Ryu, a Septia beastcatcher and niece of Iba Stora, the king of Kuruda.

so what do editors usually do? only the image? ...or includes the replacing of texts (jap - eng)? do i have to know how to translate Japanese?

...and on quality check, do i also have to know how to translate? or i would only check the whole output if its good enough? sorry.. and thanks~ ^^-

Hi everyone currently me and a group of other Manhwa lovers are gathered to translate and edit an amazing Manhwa called Ruler of the Land aka Yeol Hyeol Gang.
Summary: Bi-Kwang Han is the rather uncanny hero of this story. He is a women hunter but complete idiot when it comes to it. Too bad for Hwa-Rin Dahm that Bi-Kwang Han is the only lead she has to finding her missing grandfather, one of the greatest swordsman in history. To make matters worse, she posses the mysterious Sword of Flowers which is wanted by powerful organizations that is constantly sending deadly assassins to retrieve it. Bi-Kwang will have to do whatever it takes to finally get his girl, if hes smart enough to find her.
