Thread: Ending (SPOILERS!)

As much as I don't want it to happen. All good things must come to an end. Well if the story ended, we all know Haruhi will just create a new world again and it will start over from the beginning. That is if she wants to.

Anyway I'll write my preferred ending and my predicted ending.

My Predicted ending. A very anti-climatic end.

Haruhi, As she finally accepts a normal life. She wouldn't be displaying any signs of her powers. She will still be going around with her search but in reality she has already accepted it and will be happy with Kyon. Haruhi the most powerful Housewife and still the honorary leader of the SOS brigade.

Kyon. after seeing Haruhi's change of heart (and has grown her hair back). He accepts Haruhi's confession (well it has to happen sooner or later right?). Kyon lives a somewhat normal life as a writer and writes a book about a Guy who met a Girl who has a very unique personality that will change his life forever.

Yuki. She has finally become as normal as she can be. When she has decided to severe her link with the Intelligence-something-Entity. There was a struggle between them but they were finally able to convince this Entity to leave her alone. Lots of help from Asahina and Koizumi (and secretly from Tsuruya and Emiri). She becomes a freelancer programmer and a full time librarian in the local area. She still helps Haruhi with her search

Mikuru
She goes back to the future heart broken but now determined than ever to become a dependable woman. We all know what happens afterwards right?

Koizumi
After losing his powers. He works full-time for the organization and now moves under direct order of Tsuruya.

I'll write whatever happens to the rest later and my preferred ending as well.

^ I reckon the story will near it's end when they return and fix what occured with Haruhi 3 years ago... well 4 years ago in Volume 9 and near the novels end, the incident would have been 5 years ago... (maybe)

A lot of people speculate it will end when highschool ends for the SOSDan and co... but you never know... I wpuldn't want the Author to Drag the story too long... unless it involves lots of Time Travelling and Dimentional Sliding.

Maybe the end will be something tricky.... Haruhi unconciously always knew about the Hidden side of the world all along (ie Aliens, Time Travellers & Espers), but she decided life would be more interesting if she didn't physically know they existed so she made herself oblivious to the fact... and in the end it was all to make life more interesting since Gods are immortal. *Shrugs* too far fetched? lol ... maybe...

I'm guessing before they graduate. Mikuru is graduating already so I guess it has to end there. Well except if Mikuru repeats a grade. Which will make Kyon very happy ^^

Haruhi unconsciously knowing everything will be too contradicting with how things are right now. If she knew it from the very beginning then she wouldn't have gone to that Sealed world with Kyon as her wish has already been granted.

Lain Ending? I haven't seen it but I don't mind getting spoiled with it.
How does that it end. I remember something bout her being a digital-something


well it could be a cliche "It was all a dream" ending.

You know. Haruhi waking up and finding herself in the clubroom alone. Then from there on. She went out to change herself to be someone who is a lot like her self in her dreams.

I had the idea on my mind on how it works but the more I tried writing it. The more it suited Yuki. Ah I guess Yuki is too an interesting character compared to Haruhi.

Lain... an anime I watched in a marathon for 12 consecutive hours. Quite nice but a bit freaky. The ending was sort of reincarnation ending where she exists already out of time and space and nobody can remember her...

I saw Lain a long time ago but I didn't see its ending. I have it on VHS but I haven't touched my VHS for ... I can't even remember how long. I thought Lain was one of those people whos mind was downloaded to a computer? so I was wrong then. =\

Hmm I can't see how Haruhi will end up like that. So does that mean she recreates a world and start over from the beginning? it sounds like a BAD END with Tsuruya and Imouto showing up later to explain how badly Kyon did and what he should have done instead. >_<

Is Lain Good? Is it worth Watching??? I've never seen it.

You make it sound like MSH should have multiple endings like a VN... although with Volume 9 and the possibility of Sliders, that is possible... but since it's a light novel... it's unlikely...

I'm gnna go follow Tsukihime & FSN and predict the True & Happy/Good Ending for Haruhi...

True Ending...

After Kyon & co repair the incident that occured 3 years ago (4 years currently) a 12 year old Haruhi wakes up from what she believes is a Dream... and decides to follow what she did in her dream... (*shrugs* I couldn't think fo anything else)

Happy/Good Ending

A 12 year old Haruhi goes to Cram School and Meets John Smith (Kyon) and they decide to follow their desires to find Aliens, Time Travellers Espers & Sliders by starting the SOSDAN. *(Who knows Sasaki might even be there too)

I also had a VHS... now I converted it into Tin Can...

It would be a trully depressing ending *sniff* *sniff*.
