Thread: Haruhi Second season [Spoilers]

I just wanted to create a separate thread regarding the second season of Haruhi.

Post anything here from discussions on what do you think should be included in the second season and any news or signs regarding the second season.

I for one think that the producers are either too scared of making the second season as the expectations is now quite high. Maybe they are waiting for it to settle down a bit and they're using that time to double check their work. Hopefully this won't turn into another "Nadesico" where the second season ended up becoming a movie and it ended there. >_<

I personally don't think this thread is necessary since we already have an anime thread... at least not until the actual 2nd season comes out... a lot of people who already like the series know there is a 2nd season... Ah well...

I guess we could talk about what might be in the 2nd season but then there'd be HEAPS of SPOILERS! lol...

8 Non-Novel chapter: "Tsuruya"-special eps
9 Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody
10 1/4 Disappearance
11 2/4 Disappearance
12 3/4 Disappearance
13 4/4 Disappearance
14 Genderbender special extra eps

I think 14 episodes should be okay to keep the quality as high as possible. ^^

The eps are neither in chronological or analogical order :S

I was thinking about keeping it in Chrinological order... but that's just me .

I thought the first season was just jumbled around (except for the last episode). So did they actually use some kind of order there?

btw I just mixed up all of my favorite chapters at the first 7 eps then the following 7 was thought out. Thats probably why the order isn't making any sense >_<

ah hell. I created this thread hoping that people have seen some more news/hints about the second season. but theres none T^T

I checked The Prologue of Volume 7 and It's longer thne some of the chapters in Volume 4 so I reconsidered and decided ithad enough material for it's own ep.

5. Charmed at First Sight LOVER (the 1st signs of Yuki's Humanity)
6. Disappearance Part 3
7. Where did the Cat Go?
8. Disappearance Part 4
9. Endless Eight (Yuki's true age and signs of her becoming crazy???)
10. Disappearance Part 5
11. Disappearance Part 6
12. Wandering Shadow
13. Snow Mountain Syndrome (Shows yuki's Limitations)
14. Intrigues Part 1 (Volume 7 Prologue)

The Last Episode may or may not end in a cliff hanger... I don't mind either way vbut if it did end with a cliff hanger there will be a lot of Angry MSH Fans or a lot of hyped up MSH fans who can't wait :P lol.

Volume 7 Prologue? a sign for a third season
I don't think not all the fans will be too happy with that. the second season has enough material to make one and they're taking too much time already. The third season wouldn't have enough material and will have to wait until a few more books will be published.

I know that the author has a lot of stories kept after this long delay. Hopefully he did make a lot but reorganizing old works tend to be harder than rewriting something you wrote earlier on.

LOL!!!!!! I just noticed that most of your prefered episode for the second season involves Yuki chapters. They are the best one though ^^

^ The reason I Gave the the last episode the name Intrigues PArt 1 was becuase I Had no ida how to name it and I didn't want a Cliff hanger ending where the Audience had no idea what happened when Kyon went back to Dec 18th *the 2nd time * to save himself and stopped Yuki.

That's just a coinsodence that their all Yuki Eps :P NO REALLY, I was going for all the episode within a timeline and they just happen to all occur during the winter with the exception fo Wandering shadow which I have no idea where it fits in the timeline but it is yuki related and the 2nd season focuses on Yuki
