Thread: Kyon real name

As for my name, Sasaki seemed to find it very interesting.

"Kyon huh...... what a special nickname. Why were you given such a nickname?"

I explained the stupid reason behind it as well as my younger sister's antics with angst.

"Oh...... so what is your real name?"

After telling her verbally, Sasaki turned her neck and pupils in different directions.

"So this is how Kyon's name came about. So how do you write it out? Ah. Don't tell me first. Let me try and guess it."

The enthusiastic Sasaki thought for a while, before laughing out loud.

"Is this how it is written?"

She hurriedly picked up her mechanical pencil and started writing on the notebook. I let out a gasp of surprise after she wrote the name down. Sasaki wrote my name perfectly.

"Can you tell me the reason for having such a royal and imposing name?"

And so I told her the reason, which my father told me when I asked him when I was still young, verbatim.

"Great."

YES, BUT SERIOUSLY - WHAT'S HIS NAME !!

Sasaki is "Help" or" Tree"

Kojiro could be for second son

The characters also different - but all in all - not impossible.

Considering if Haruhi can summon heroes from past..no, nothing is impossible with her

It'd be extremely Ironic if his real name was kami or any name reffering to god lol.

It would, it'd also be interesting, after all... A royal and imposing name hmm... Think it'll ever be revealed? Maybe in book 10...

Possibly xD. But I can't imagine him being called Kohaku... Maybe its just his surname, or maybe its just his first name that sounds majestic... Maybe his name is something like "N. Kyo", or something similar, it could explain Kyon (Kyo N. if written in non formal). I've got my brain in a knot.

Nabuchodonozor Kyo !!!! No wonder they prefer the shorter version...

It could also be a Ki and Yo. Kinda like Kitamura Yohei.

Add them together: Kyo... then add the N to make it a nickname... Kyon

anyway the writer did say that he actually chose the name Kyon as the most weird nickname he could give his character but he hasn't actually thought of the name yet. xD
