I think she showed up at the anime but she was too far away to see properly. =\

Oh yeah when Kyon & his Sister were walking to school and Kyon's Sister met up with her friends...

Although it's difficult to predict that they purposely animated Miyokichi into the 1st season as a foreshadow to one of the chapters in Volume 8.

Hm any idea which one is Miyokichi?... I always thought she was taller... maybe it hard to tell from this distance or she'd not apart of that group in the picture.

I'm guessing she's the one on the right. It is a downward hill and you can see how tall she is compared to other girl on the left. Miyokichi is describe by Kyon as a "mature" looking girl. So I think appearance-wise. The girl on the right fits the category.

It looks like the author has a lot of influence on the anime. Hopefully the second season will be similar ^^

I wonder what kind of relationship in the future Mikuru & Kyon will have... I don't know if it's just me but it seems Mikuru (Big) still has feelings for Kyon... I suspect Romantic feelings... she probably told Kyon to keep his distance with Mikuru for obvious reasons... but it make me wonder what the circumstances that occured later in the future that would bring Mikuru and Kyon closer together for Mikuru (Big) to tell Kyon in the Volume 1 to keep his distance? Hmmm... time Travel screws with your brain doesn't it? :S

I think we have seen why Adult Asahina told Kyon why she didn't want him getting too close to her old self. Just remember all of those Mikuru chapters. She was very dependent on him there and not only that she was impressed on how much her "superiors" trusts and relies on him as well. okay I'm going back to my circular logic >_<

well I do agree though. As long as Haruhi is around. Kyon wouldn't have any chance on other girls.
