Generally, IRL, people would look down on this sorta thing (most of them think its bastardizing the original, I think its taking the original in a new creative direction).

Yeah, I still have issues with genderbendering girls (except in Abstract Gender, one of my favorite Web comics).

^for me it feels like they completely ditched Kyon's design and just took his hairdo (elongated it and gave it a pigtail ^^) and left his personality in her. :P

hmmm so which one do you not want converted most?

I like both Yuki(female) and Yuuki(male) characters. Yuuki's inner desires is funny whenever he shows it.
