Sasaki is Kyon's "Close friend"....and also I kinda like her a lot ;p She really would make a better one..

Firstly I shall say that Kolox is right and, since thread has a spoiler warnign in title and the title itself can't spoil anyone anyways i don't see the reason to accuse him of something. Me calling his names is just a joke born from IRC, so i did not atually mean anything serious. ;P
Secondly... this is Haruhi section thus everything Haruhi related shall be discussed here - novel included, of course.
And yeah, I'm now out of this thread untill I reach the latest volume ;P
I'm just being picky... if I hadn't reed the novel and I saw a VS thread about Haruhi, the first thing I'd think would be "rival"... Which is what Sasaki is, in every sense of the word :P.
Will this thread end up being the novel discussion thread? or is it just a poll for who deserves to the true God... even though we all know Haruhi will win in the end... but that depends whether you support alpha or beta (if you don't understand what I'm saying read the novel :P)
