Thread: Who will win !! Sasaki v.s Haruhi [spoiler]

I kinda think Haruhi will not become a god but she still "wins" as if in matter - with whom Kyon will stay. Kyon doesn't dislike Sasaki but it's not good enough for him to break his relationship with Haruhi. He might admit that she is unfit to be the one with such power but he won't abandon her if she will become just a girl..

..or maybe that's the point, from all people around Haruhi, Kyon is the only one who still thinks of Haruhi as Haruhi and not some unexplained paranormal phenomen. Koizumi and Nagato shows a lot of times in novel that if it wasn't for her power, they wouldn't really side with Haruhi at all. Mikuru is completely different story but she also is there with Haruhi because of her oddity. Now they will surely side with her because they don't want to lose to their rivals but if she was to lose her power - for Haruhi only Kyon remains.

Some fans of this obvious pairing would say "Great, finally those two alone together", but I guess Haruhi wouldn't just stand for that.

..but if there was a battle in which Haruhi and Sasaki were to fight with each other with arguments, Haruhi wouldn't win. Funny thing is, Sasaki wouldn't win either, but she wouldn't lose too - she is a person who could accept the responsibility and then completely forget about it. Haruhi is already on losing position because Sasaki has really nothing to lose and - all is fun and stuff - Haruhi is really worse "god" than Sasaki.

WOW LOTS OF SPOILERS HERE, IGNORE THIS POST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED.

Yeah but if Sasaki were to become God... the world would be boring... well it might be boring assuming she recreates the world as she sees fit... although the Alien Factions would definitely be against it, Fujiwara 's Faction would be for it though...

but then again we don't know what's Canopy Domain's motive is, they may want to eliminate Haruhi becuase she's a potential threat...

Haruhi & Sasaki have yet to confront each other...

Sasaki's the reason why Kyon gave up on his beliefs of the Super Natural & Paranormal (eg- Aliens, Espers Etc) it makes me wonder if Sasaki's would Affect Haruhi's beliefs with her logic.

I wouldn't want the world to end though but since Sasaki entered into the frame, it meant ALOT more work of Koizumi in closed space.

From all the posts I could only deduce this, Sasaki is someone with god powers like Haruhi and from my point of view I think she's stronger? (am I right?) And that right now Kyon's in the center of an Epicenter of the rivalry of two girl and two gods? (pls correct me if my deductions are wrong) Also there's this feeling that the loser woud become human? I think I got that part wrong... that doesn't seem right.

In an off topic I just want to quote on your sig.... What Tsukihime anime? All I can remember was a fan made wannabe anime with man faced girls titled Shin...Piece of Crap of A Scums World... yah I think it was that.

hmmm.... not really.. *spoilers* Sasaki has been aware of her powers just recently. i don't think a rivalry has been declared between the two, since Sasaki (still) doesn't consider Haruhi as a rival (yet). she seems to be a gentle but a bit tomboyish type, so unless haruhi pushed her to the limits to piss her off, she wouldn't fight back. regarding the "loser would become human", i'm not so sure about that, but there have been cases where the other faction wants to eliminate the other (the agency).

i'm still waiting for the next novel, so some facts will be straighten out about sasaki..

Anyway, that's not what was my impression - Sasaki was a god before Haruhi but somehow she lost it and the power was transfered to Haruhi (Kyon sper..I mean, his influence ?).

There are few proofs of why Sasaki would be better - first she is aware of it and she doesn't want to abuse it. Second - her closed spaces are far more peaceful - no avatars that destroy buildings and no need for espers to go inside and fight them off. Sasaki might be a boring choice but she is a safe choice, she is a choice that won't perform apocalypse on earth - and remember, Haruhi was about to make one if it wasn't for Kyon effort. All logical arguments goes for Sasaki.

Now when I think about it, Haruhi could try to piss of Sasaki making her also unable to be a good "god".

I think the reason they wanted to get Kyon's approval is to get Kyon to (give mana.. er ..) transfer the Godly power of Haruhi back to Sasaki. I guess my theory that the real God of this world is Kyon might be right XD

well as per who will win. I don't think either of them will. Sasaki is not interested with Kyon as Kyon did emphasize in his memories that Sasaki has always acted as one of the guys when he's around him.

As per Haruhi. Too much Tsun not enought Dere to have a romantic relationship at the moment. She's more of a watch dog that scares girls away >_<
