Ok, I guess I should write my post that is in the Raw discussion thread here as well:

The further the story goes, the more epic it becomes. But I still get the feeling that there is something fishy behind Kurt's offer even with him having feelings for Arika and Eva saying him and Negi will make a great duo. Another thing: now we now the Negi is of royal blood, a prince, so to speak. And Asuna is a princess and his first magical partner, to boot. And they act almost just like Nagi and Arika to each other. Does anybody still have any questions who will be Negi's wife?

Oh yeah, and one more thing: when will Yue finally regain her memory?

@jeron: i'm not sure if anybody ever doubt the negi-asuna theory. they are like love hina's keitaro-naru. but still it's fun to pair up negi with others..

hopefully realsuna will headbutt negi from destroying what his mother trying to protect.

Yes, yes, I am aware of that and I had my share of fun too. It is just that introducing the facts like the ones in this chapter is like saying "The fun is *almost* over" (unless if only Akamatsu-sensei intends to suprise us).

Well, seems like it's definite death flag there.

awesome chapter, just can't wait to read 271. Btw If I wre negi I would join Godel and make them pay!! haha just kidding, but seriously now we know negi can use that royal magic stuff, wouldn't that mean he get's to be even stronger than he is now, maybe with that he'll be able to defeat Fate and Co.

after reading this chapter I got to thinking.

we know Asuna is obviously older than she actually looks. they also mentioned Amaterasu and the power she passed down. what if that power was the magic cancel and rather than asuna being a member of the royal family she WAS Amaterasu

Thought the same thing. It seems to be a verry rare power, but negi can now use the magic cancelling sword since his pactio .

I have the feeling that Rakkan will loose, not cuz he's too weak, but cuz it would be better for the story.
