PS:

correct me if i'm wrong (this all just a Hypothesis)
1. asuna is the one who took down the flying islands right?? well she got pushed by the counsil at that time

2. the ala atra prolly being chased by the angry mob (and evil dudes who move the angry mob).... split up.. some goes to mahora. one went to his castle to hide...

3. saved by ala atra asuna is brainwashed (so no one will know who she is... and that the magic canceller princess is still alive) and hidden in mahora? (still on the splitting up scenario)

4. arika (whom prolly take the blame of the falling of the islands) when with nagi run away... got bussy and negi comes out... they prolly put negi at britain away from danger (that they are having at that time)

5. knowing that nagi got a kid... i meant arika got a kid at that small village, the now new counsil send troops of devil there to destroy the place and kill little negi.

6. nagi, knowing this, show up (a little late) and the went away again
the big Q is why?? is arika is in danger if nagi not around?? is she dying somewhere?? why not take negi at that time?? why must be saparate again??.... or is it cuz of the fact that he use one of those thingy that chao used but running out of time...i meant magic power (cuz this one answer all of those question)

7. negi went o magic world... mars using a huge portal (it remind me of doom) meet fate by coinsidence
maybe fate was ordered to destroy the portal by the counsil (that's why he can get through) not knowing what for (well he is a merc)

8. now the new counsil trapped negi and co at magic world (prolly to lured nagi and arika out of hiding)

9. rakan gives asuna another dose of brainwash (prolly a good thing to do).. but fate try to unlock those memories (also prolly a good thing to do)

10. fate has been doing some humanitarian stuff which prolly meant that he has change (or somebody reprogram this powefull doll) which also mean that unlocking asuna memory is also ordered by that someone... cuz i doubt that the counsil is the one who order that.

this all things only lead to one thing.. which is i don't think that the new counsil is doing all this for revenge of the falling of the old kingdom, but rather that they desperately want asuna back... the only weapon that can give them a huge leverage toward other country (a magic canceler).
soo another big Q: who side fate is?? his own??

hmm... now that I've seen your hypothesis, this feels like someone trying to out plan one another... which the true mastermind WANTS....

reminds me of The Edel Bernal of Super Robot Wars Z....

Hmm... after reading this chapter I got a sudden idea (an old one actually):
Arika "Queen of Calamity" x Nagi "The Hero" = Negi
with the same type of couple, we could set:
Eva "Queen of Darkness" x Negi "The Hero's Son" = ??? (Just kidding, but it'd be fun to watch).

Now, BTT:
Sure, I agree with most of your hypothesis and there's something disturbing me...

1. After Nagi acquired the title of Hero, then Ala Alba split up:
-Nagi taking Arika (perhaps)
-Gatou and young Takahata taking Asuna (This is showed before in Asuna's dream)
-Albireo and Eishun going back to the old world, they might be taking the baby Negi to Britain then hide themselves in Japan (Mahora), or they just going straight to Japan?
-Rakan stayed in the new world and hide his existence (This shows how the people on the new world are surprised when he showed up).

2. Now my question is, what happened after the war is over? There's a sudden change to Ala Alba's condition and where exactly Nagi meets Eva? Is it before the war? Far after the war? Since I don't see Asuna on the flashback where Eva is involved...

the war never over..... u just don't see it... i believe eva come b4 the falling kingdom thingy... or even b4 nagi meet arika (that's why eishuun and albeiro and even rakan know her)... think of how many years that she have to spend in that school daydreaming of nagi and only getting info of the outworld from the head master
ps: that is also why she never knew bout asuna till alberio tell her at the tournament
