the only thing we REALLY know is.... KA just had his first Crowning Moment of Awesomeness in here...
seriously, having a fricking awesome governor who pretty much can be sadistic at times but can also have a ton of info on his hands at any moment...
i just read the chapter again and i just realized something...this governor guy is way overpowerful....he can listen in on peoples thoughts and telepathic convorsations....thats just invasion of privacy let alone how strong he is....
Negima has evolved into a roller coaster ride. Ken seems to be throwing in a lot of twists. The Governor-General spoil the party by telling Negi that his mother is Princess Arika. The guy seems to have a major chip on his shoulder. He blames Arika for destroying most of Ostia. In a way, Arika had to sacrifice Ostia to save an entire world.
Negi turning out to be a prince is a suprise. He is from a well respected and powerful Magi family. Ken is the only one who knows if Mr. Goedel is a nice guy, or one of Fate's allies. He could be one of Asuna's and Arika's cousins.
i like to see him as akira's cousin who secretly had a crush on her, but can't tell cuz it's a forbidden love..... hows that for a twist?
There must have been a few underlying twists and revelations Racan forgot to mention about the war, or perhaps Racan wasn't paying attention to 'boring' stuff... That aside I'm sure it will be revealed soon.
I don't think Godel is a 'good' or 'bad' person, but rather he has his own goals- taking over the world. Seeing how Godel did not seek to arrest Negi, nor did he try to severely injure him or his comrades, it makes him genuine of his offer.
Godel's goals are in direct conflict with Fate's, perhaps joining Godel might not be such a bad idea after all. Heck Godel may even know more about the war and Nagi/whereabouts than Negi's current allies who treat him like a kid- tell him nothing. He also proves to be a powerful ally- information, political position, and battle powers.
