^Akamatsu seems to like having breaks. I guess he's running out of material. I can't blame him with all this Pactio galore? He has to make an artifact that isn't too strong that will complicate the story too much or too weak that it would get forgotten.
It sounds like we'll know whos getting whos pactio. Though I'm interested in seeing Sayo and Chachamaru's pactio. LOL @ Sayo's new body. :D
Kotarou having a partner doesn't sound right though. His like a lone wolf. even if he does teamed up with Negi most of the time. I never see him team up with anyone else.

i like to see what akira's will be. it must has something to do with swimming.
while ako's has something to do with bass guitar.
the only thing i could think of for ku fei is a chinese kung fu arm ring.
for natsumi....i don't know @_@ so does for the robot and the old ghost.
and for yuuna..... his father is also a mage right?? meaning she can aslo become a mage, meaning she can also become magister right??
PS: i dont give a damn what their pactio look like on any other negima franchise

That was a weird filler, even for Negima.
Breaks come every 3 weeks don't they? And I doubt Akamatsu is thinking of the pactios now of all times. afaik authors draft entire stories before they go into publication.

I reckon Ku will get knuckle dusters or a tri-staff-spear.
And the others more magic based artifacts (support) like honya/yue/paru.
Maybe Akira gets a silence wand, that stops mages from their incantations.
Yuuna might get some guns, dual pistols is back?
Makie gets a special type whip.
Ako is the hardest since she is so average, aside from her scar and the fact she plays bass. Maybe she gets an instrument that boosts allies strengths...
Sayo gets a possessing type artifact.
Chachamaru gets a gattling cannon, no a tank... no wait, a giant mecha... Or something defensive (barrier type), to protect the one she loves...
Natsumi gets a leash, LOL! It's clear as day that she likes Kotaro.
And I doubt Kota is a magi (capable of pactio), isint he a Ki user?
p.s. Chachamaru should get a second key, for different purpose and placement. heh. :9

Nice chapter even if it was just a filler, still i believe that the real Negi would be the one to oppose to the idea of having more partners since he's more interested in returning all to the old world.
Anyway this is a good way to remember us that this was the kind of scenes that we had in the beginning of the manga.
And like the rest of you hell i hate the breaks!!!! T_T
