Negi wont reveal himself, he is wanted and the arena is full of cops. The only way he could get revealed is if someone reveals him with some sort of dispel.
He would be pretty boned if he was revealed... the entire magic world is after him for supposedly being a terrorist...

if dispelling the disguise is the only way to win he will do it, and I expected KA to create such a situation for him.. it just won't be fun if he's not revealed on live broadcast.. so yeah he is worried about being a wanted terrorist, but right now nothing matters to him more than victory..

and besides it's about time Fate's fake footage was dealt with since Negi is lining up royalties and world heroes in his aid..

I think once they realize that Negi is suddenly "on par" with Rakan, they'll think twice before taking him on, bounty or not.

I dont think Negi will be revealed to the magic world, not on his own will anyway...

1) It's too troublesome seeing that not only Negi is wanted, but his whole class.
2) Dispelling the illusion is not going to be much of a distraction because Racan already knows, and Racan is a veteran- he won't fall for tricks.
3) There are alot of cops around, from north, south and neutral forces...
4) The very plan was to be under cover, win the tourney, gather up and leave magic world.

Even if Negi is "on par" with Racan, he is already beaten down and can be outnumbered...
I dont think he is going to be exposed without Fate moving in...

About Rakan holding back, I don't think is possible, he went all out. But there is something that Eva told Negi when he defeated Takamichi and that is

Maybe Rakan did the same. He didn't hold back his powers, but if he had wanted to kill negi, the match wouldn't have lasted so long.

Still, it's incredible how much a genius Negi is. In one month of hell training he raised his level like crazy, now he's got a chance of defeating Fate, if he can get past his barrier that is (but at this point i think he actually can do it).
