i want to see him getting a powerfull dark magic fist on the chin. and then said "ahh crap, getting beaten by a ten year old"
but somehow i still wanna see fate comes out any moment now.

see ya.. sorry for dragging this out but Rakan really ticked me off this time..
also it would have made more sense if Kotarou went all out on Kagetarou from the start so that he can gang up with Negi on Rakan but I guess now it'll boil down to one on one..
Kotarou was still awesome though..
Stop looking at Negi as a ten year old, Nagi matched Rackan as a brat too anyway. Its not the age that matters, but the reputation and potential- i.e. he IS the son of the thousand master after all.
Is it not that unusal for war buddies to look into potential? Dosent Negi have alot of potential? How do you effectively measure ones strength? Luck? Experience? Motivation?
I think you guys are looking into a wronged perspective... Racan is just preparing Negi for the final stage...

^ I have to disagree, Fate is around Nagi's level, he would see through it as easy as Racan did. The element of surprise is important, but not as effective against veterans.
This is actually an opportunity to use his techniques in practice on someone around Fate's level, improve it, and master it in actual practice.
Remember, new techniques are always developed, but old ones remain for a reason- they work.

I meant to say Negi.
Unless Fate decides to attack right then.
I still think that Negi doesn't stand a chance against Fate. Don't use Rakan as an example, because I don't honestly believe he was going at even half his strength against Negi (disregarding that "Rakan at 120%" crap).
