Thread: Rakan's power chart rankings

Just wondering; how would the "warrior" class members of Negi's party be ranked on Rakan's power chart?

Specifically:


I know this is irrelevant, but it's fun to guesstimate during this downtime until the chap comes out.....


here's what I estimated:
Kotaro: 1000
Setsuna:1100
Kaede:1300
Ku Fei:800
Asuna:700

I think Setsuna would be higher than Kaede due to her ougi's
And Ku Fei: remember her really powerful ki punches?
And that means Asuna has surpassed Negi's original level.

I always thought Keade and Ku Fei were supposed to be equal in power, and both were supposed to be just below Mana. Setsuna's up for a toss anywhere, since her power seems to fluctuate depending on the situation. Asuna's a wild card, since if she was based only on fighting skill it would probably be pretty low, but she's also got the magic cancel and crazy-ass power she uses in her Mahoro Tourny fight.

I guessed asuna's level from setsuna's words. At the time, I would say that setsuna was still stronger than negi, since we know that Negi didn't level up until he got M.E. and trained with Rakan for a month.

About Kaede, I've thought that she was slightly stronger than setsuna since the festival arc when she fought Al. And Kaede took down a dragon by herself....bad example I guess.

Ku I'm still not so sure...I know she's strong...but....maybe she's at Setsuna and kaede's level now....?

The basis of the "Power" chart is still very ambiguous.
The person's experience and battle techniques aren't factored into it.

So, I don't understand how Tsukuyomi would be at 1500, considering how she's just a swordsman.

Mages are known for their firepower and should be very high...

But, in terms of "who should win in a fight"

Kaede
Kuu
Kotaro
Asuna

I'm omitting Negi since we know that with 1000 bolts and M.E. he's able to fight someone who's supposedly ranked at 12000. So obviously he's the strongest of Ala Alba now.

Wouldn't Eva be considered some sort of distant cousin to Ala Alba though?

Nah, the master don't count unless you want to consider everyone whose ever trained Negi a distant member. She more like the 'I'll train you since you begged so hard but your fights are your own problem' sort of person.

since Eva has been brought into discussion, can anyone guess her power level?

she took out Sukuna with ease, but was Sukuna fully powered back then? Rakan ranked it at 8000 but if Eva is higher than that without magia erebia, she'll be what? 20K if she powers up with it..
