If you noticed, Negi didn't actually cast Thousand Lightning, and he's not powered up with Magia Erebea yet, so this only leaves him having it up as a delay spell. From the Kagetarou battle we're sure he can delay a minimum of three... and from the training montage we saw Eva training him to get buff with two techniques.

I was right about Asuna's artifact from the raw talk... makes me feel good.

this means that if she's given sufficient training Asuna has the potential to defeat anything and everything in existence.. ever.

as for Negi's pactio, I wonder if there are some limitations like usage time limits or number of uses limit.. Negi was in too much of a hurry to put away that magic canceling blade..

also I have a feeling that Negi hustled Rakan into a fistfight while having a super lightning spell delayed up his sleeve..

Well setsuna has already said that if Asuna was trained properly, she would probably end up the strongest out of the group(next to negi).

That glaive thing that Rakan used was....well....wow. and I think that it's awesome that Negi hasn't even gone "dark mode" yet. This fight's gonna be epic.


.....wait a second. Does that mean that asuna's sword can nullify Ki and machine type energy attacks as well?

And yes this a damn GOOD chapter although a little short for my taste....anyway i just can't wait for the next chapter i mean this is gonna be EPIC....really EPIC.....

The sad thing of this is that for some reason i believe that in the climax of the battle well see Fate entering on stage with both Negi and Rakan exhausted..... and with the real ASUNA on fate's side ......

I swear that IF THAT HAPPENS i will be so damn PISS OFF......and i dont know why i really feel thats gonna happen since whe haven't see anything of those two in a while..........OR im just TOO DAMN EXCITED because of this chapter LOL XD

Hmm, assuming that the artifact is unique to the minister.

seriously... Negi's got two powers which kinda oppose each other...

his artifact that relies mostly on the powers of his comrades...

and his dark powers where he goes being a loner...

then again.. it's just me...
