240 is Epic! I haven't been this pumped to read manga for over a year.

Interesting side notes: does anyone know the colour of Negi's card? I couldn't quite make it out, though I would bet on silver or crimson since I think I recall those being the most rare.

I definitely agree. I also haven't been this pumped for quite a long time. As I said on another forum, "Just waiting one week is going to take all of my willpower not to explode. I want to see major kickassness."

Not sure about the color... Haven't seen an actual color picture of it.

Turns out we were both right. Gold, silver and crimson are the most rare colours. (in increasing order, see bonus section of Negima vol. 5)

It appears that the card is gold and red (Aurum et Rubor). This is probably what Heartless fang told me. On a side note, it seems that Alberio's card also had two colours (gold and purple). Rakan's was too much of a blur to tell.

Other data on Negi's card:
-Number is 484 (again a guess)
-Direction is West (big suprise)
-Virtue is Bravery
-Astrology is Jupiter
-Title is mag__rulus Magi (Magnarulus Magi? -> Great Ruler Mage? This is not real latin though it could have fooled me if I hadn't looked it up)


The only Latin word I could find that started with mag__ was 'Magna' meaning 'Great'; this happens to make sense in context so I'll bet on it. Rulus is the problem, I haven't found anything I'd bet on.
Guesses on Latin words that could be 'rulus' are:
-rursus : on the other hand, in return, back, again.
-rutilus : red, golden, auburn.

All that said the previous paragraph is just the results of a google search. No knowledge of Latin was applied. Though the data listed above that was taken from the card explanation sheet from vol. 5.

I'm wondering if i want to know what that means. anyway good chapter, it looks like akumatsu has mastered the art of the cliffhanger. love when both negi and kotaro came out. i also like kotaro's clothes, they remind me of sanosuke's from rourouni kenshin.

hmm... pretty sure Rakan trained with Kagetaro also for the past 3 days... I mean.. if he didn't, Kagetaro's pretty much useless when it comes to power levels unless he can hit a lucky shot with all the powerhouses at the enemy side..

this time perception adjustment scroll doesn't actually adjust time right?? only the perception of time, unlike Eva's villa and it's variants.. or does that scroll work in the same way as Eva's villa??

time is multiplied 72 times?!!? one day Negi will come out of one of those time warping contraptions as an old geezer..

well eva did said that the scroll only efect mentally... so i think that going into th scroll is just like having a dream. while going into the villa is like going into another time dimension.
and yeah if negi spend so much time in the villa he will get older... he might end up being a teenager if he continue training likew this, if he does i wonder what would happen to the girls? (a mature negi )
