I was expecting Kagetaro to be (maybe) the tournament final boss, but now it seems Negi will be dealing with much stiffer competition..

I'm still wondering if Kaede's artifact can be used effectively in combat though..

I'd say hers is more for stealth and hiding instead of for combat. As it is her strength as a ninja is already really strong so a strategic card fit her best.

I was a bit disappointed with Negi. His using that spell like a normal routine. He's probably practicing it but I was hoping that he will be winning his matches normally and use it later on tougher opponents.

but I am eagerly anticipating on what Kotarou will be doing in order to catch up. I wish Rakan will teach him something too and let Negi take care of the tournament for a while. ^^

wait.... so Rakan informed the higher ups that its Negi whos in the tournament and he is Nagi's son. Shouldn't this be enough to take out the wanted signs for them?

i was thinking the same thing on kotaro. at least he isn't as bitter this time but i really hope he can catch up to negi because he's my favorite character and i don't want him fading into the useless background of the manga (i'm thinking of dragonball z right now but i doubt akumatsu would do that). since the higher ups are friends of rakan and it is nagi's son i think they'll give him a benefit of a doubt.

oh boy.. now with rakan joining the tourney, things are gonna get rough for Negi and Kotaro...

But I know that it's not the real Asuna, and Fakesuna hasn't done shit to satisfy me. That is: no morale-boosting speeches, no bitchslapping Negi, other Asuna-isms. Instead she's: made the fucktarded =3 face, been a backseat bitch compared to everyone else... bleh.

I think it was you I said it to... where instead of leveling up like a normal person he's turning Magia Erebea into a primary technique rather than a last resort like it shoulda been.

Do you mean "take out" as they should arrest Negi or that they should remove the bounty on his head? These people are the most likely to go against actions against Negi as they were all personally involved with Nagi and his final battle (and what's possibly all the other shit during the 14 volumes of war). I don't think anyone else knows that "Nagi" is Nagi's son, and even then arresting a public symbol wouldn't look good and it would raise questions.

The same would result from suddenly taking away his status as a wanted criminal. People would wonder why, questions would be asked, and then it's likely his secret as Nagi's son would break out like a shitstorm of acne. After that, all hell would probably break loose as everyone would want to meet him, question him (mostly about Nagi's whereabouts probably), detain him for questioning (because he's the pupil to the Undying Mage and such).
