Thread: air gear

i think this is kind of funny but the latest chapter of air gear, chapter 222, just advertised and recommended negima even used an excerpt from it. what do you guys think of this?

I lol'd. I read that chapter right after I finished Negima 235 or whatever (Paio II ftw) and was like WTF lol.

Is he allowed to do that tho? Copyright infringement...??

he probably got permission from akumatsu. i wonder which manga is more popular.

It'd be funny if they got a crossover collaboration... I mean... both mangakas have a taste for shounen, action and ecchi on it.. lawl...

then again.. it's like it's almost impossible for them to have a crossover since in the first place, you can't combine magic and skating... : /

And it's the same magazine for serialization. I don't think negima is one of those super popular anime that everyone makes fun of like pokemon or doraemon or dragon ball

um.. it's been made fun of in the anime cause it got the worst ending... evrarz...

@rodavlas: HAHAHAHAH YOU WATCHED THE ANIME!!! LOLOLOL... *ahem. Saw how the first one's character design went, ignored it. Saw how the second was was about chupacabras and Asuna's funky hair, avoided it (it had the benefit of the doubt for 7 eps or so...).
/jk you must love negima a lot more than i do to tolerate that crap (imo)

This doesn't look so much like making fun of Negima as... idk like... he probably just started reading it right now and decided to throw it in. Hence the v1?

it's not making fun of negima, more like, i dunno praising it? there's an excerpt from the first volume and it was giving the girl who was reading courage/strength to do what was needed. i don't really think you can that much fun of negima, it's flaws aren't that glaring and it's a pretty good manga.

Over time I've noticed how Negima sometimes changes based on things said in this forum. At first I thought it was coincidence, then I noticed an increasing frequency, then I noticed Negima started to reflect things that I had said, now there has been a crossover of the two series for which I moderate and I can't help but wonder if ken chan has some sort of fixation with me................ Its creepy............
