Default Negima Neo (Another MSN manga)

I don't know if everybody noticed or perhaps everyone knows already, but check this out:

    NEGIMA NEO

Features the same characters and locations as Mahou Sensei Negima! , however, this series has a different story than the original. The new storyline explains the addition of punctuation to the title.

    Licensed by Del Rey
Negima Neo! by Ken Akamatsu and Takuya Fujima - April 2009
The adventures of the boy wizard / pint-sized high school teacher Negi Springfield continue under the guidance of original creator Ken Akamatsu, but with art by Takuya Fujima. As the Del Rey PR describes it, Negima Neo! is a remix of the original story, featuring the same characters, but putting the focus back on Negi's quest to find his father, the famous Thousand Master.

This manga has about 4 volumes and 22 chapters.

You may read it right here at StopTazmo:

yeah, this has been out for a while. it kind of pisses me off that there is another manga and two anime series that can't get negima right.

This manga is much better compared to the first anime series though.

    Yay for more chupacabra madness!

"You have other hearts trapped within you as well, dont you?"
"You're that guy from last time! What are you talking about?!"
    "The other Hearts within you."
    "Hearts trapped within me....?"

    Ah!
I've been looking for it everywhere!
But never realized that it's closer than I thought! XD

    Uh...
It can't possibly put even quarter as much emphasis as the original series... Dx

EDIT: Wait, how long has it been that we can stream manga on StopTazmo!?
    I never noticed!

Well, I guess creating this thread wasn't a waste of time after all.

Agreed. As for Negi, he is more of a brat here compared to the original series. Or at least in the beginning.

Wait, how long has it been that we can stream manga on StopTazmo!? I never noticed!

I have often wondered how popular Negima will be if Ken had limited the focus on fanservice. The series will be very popular like Naruto. Negima has evolved to a point where another Negima series can be written. One franchise which is a harem comedy series is Tenchi Muyo. While Tenchi Muyo wasn't the first harem comedy series in the United States, it is the best example for a harem comedy series. The TM franschise has three separate series in which Tenchi was the primary character. It had spinoffs as well. There is TM GXP.

Negima Neo sounds like the series which focuses on Ken's original plans for Negima. From what I read, the series focus more on Negi's search for his father. I enjoy the twists and turns of the first Negima series.

Negima seem to be a parody of Harry Potter at first. It turn out to be an entirely different series from the start. Ken will not mind if there is a Negima franchise. Tenchi Muyo is a very popular series. Negima is a popular series, too. Unfortunatlely, the fanservice focus will prevent Negima from becoming popular like Naruto. Maybe, aonther Negima series can be popular like the original.

I just wish someone would sub past chapter 4

Anybody know if any groups are even thinking about picking it up?

Hell I'd be happy with just transcripts.
