Ken mostly uses his "breaks" to catch up on stuff he didn't do over the work weeks.

I am just very glad that Negima hasn't tripped so much so far for being inconsistent.
Besides, each chapter covers so much that it's almost the equivalent of 2-3 chapters of other series.
As for the Tsukuyomi phenomenum, I am still baffled.
She did admit to being weaker than Setsuna during the Kyoto Arc, and I'll take her word for it.
And now, she's gaining the upper hand against Setsuna even with her wings and artifacts! @_@
Looks like Negi wasn't the only kid who got powerleveled. (And Kotaro, too?)
Didn't tsukiyomi say in the newest chapter that the Setsuna of back then wouldn't have been distracted by such things??... or something like that.
@whoever said new chapters are shit: gtfo kthx. Who can't disagree that they aren't as up to snuff as any of the past chapters, but there always exists the possibility that these lesser ones are the foundation for a grander storyling (i mean, shit, the gakusai arc was 100 chapters in itself and that was pretty damn good).
oh, and that's blasphemy against this godly ol' series. lol

I'm not sure if it's important or not, but that page where negi's talking to Fate and says "I won't let you lay a finger on this girl". That seemed kind of significant to me because whenever Negi fights to protect them he seems to treat it as a teachers responsibility , you remember how he always says something along the lines of "I must protect my students. Or maybe i'm reading too much out of a single sentence .What do you guys think?
(Oh and Asuna's definitely a fake or one of the biggest plothole Fuck-ups a writers ever made)
For that one line, you'd have to find the raw and look to see if that specific line is different from any lines where Negi says "don't lay a hand on my students". Shit does get lost in translation, you know.

Like, say, how Asuna says she took care of the pillars but neglected to mention the two ministra that accosted her, or as others have said, how she's completely unscathed despite being caught completely unaware by the initial blast from the first girl she saw.
The biggest plothole if Asuna real would be:
-She doesn't talk that way at all.
The others, of course, would be the two ministras. I think someone also wrote that Asuna said that Setsuna was fine.
The biggest glaring plothole ever present in Negima is the Language Barrier.
It's not there at all.
I see you've never read shaman king.
