i had just downloaded chapter 222 from this site however the folder inside was chapter 221 and same with its contents? i just wanna ask, was there something wrong?

no, that's definitely wrong. Fate is just a doll/automata, as Eva has stated.

as for the chapter, try taking it to the support/feedback forum - they might be able to do something for you. otherwise, you could get the chapter at onemanga.

^ though he said that he was created....in this last chapter he actually seemed to have emotions.....He even smiled at the end.....

I'm not too sure about that. Eva's comment could have been simply about the particular Fate body she fought. As for Fate's comment about being "created", it could be a translation mishap meaning his "team" was "assembled".

That being said, it doesn't exclude the possibility that Fate could be a 50yr old mage remote-controlling a Fate-boy water construct, or something like that. A little like Al/colonel Sanders was doing during the festival tournament.

Plus, even if he wasn't just controlled, who said independent constructs couldn't show emotion? This is a magic-based manga, and Chachamaru herself sure doesn't just act like a simple automaton.

The thing is that if Fate were a construct, Eva would have noticed it. Instead "his movements were similar to that of a construct" instead of something like "that boy is a construct himself".

The water teleportation thing... it's just like Eva's shadow teleport.

I'd say that, whether or not Fate is really a construct, it's at least been established that he's capable of independent thought, which would be the source of his emotions and whatnot.

Isn't it obvious? 'Cause she is all cheerful and "idiotic" not like the Asuna-hime before the cigarette-guy (forgot his name) was killed (and also before her encouter with Nagi).
She was like... empty, not showing any sign of emotion or whatever else. >_>

So basically, before she went to Mahora, she don't recall anything. ( except in her dreams) and her memory was altered by Takamichi so that she can have a "normal school life" , that what Fate mean on the page 17 of this chapter 222.

Yeah, I like the way that Negi is changing. He has confidence in his actions and beliefs and is more willing to act. I hope it doesn't go to far and there has to be some prison time of something.
Anyway, what is up with Negima this week is this a break week and I missed the notice?
