honestly, i feel things are going way too smoothly for my liking. I at least wanted the sports group to suffer a bit more, for breaking their promise and following negi into the magic world.
But oh we'll the stand off between Fate/Negi would be interesting.

nothing really happened in this chapter. Filler if anything else, though fate's appearance puts a twist on things. hopefully next chapter won't be negi thinking he is just seeing things.

They're not going to fight. Not in this huge crowd. Also, Negi's still too weak. He's not at his level yet. It's like comparing someone raised in Brooklyn, New York on the streets by his big brothers and his gang members who survived a big gang war to some rich kid who goes abroad to learn extensive combat.

Ch. 221 is mainly a filler. The most important parts of the chapter focus on the reasons for the Ostia Festival. The Northern Coaliton represents the normal humans. The Southern Empire representing the other races of the Magic World. Collete told Yue about the likelihood that both of the major powers are always assumed to be up to something to destroy the peace.
Negi is thinking about his relationshio with Asuna. He does think of Asuna as a big sister. He does show that he is wondering if he did the right thing
Negi has sense Fate's presence. Then he find out that he is at Ostia. Their meeting was by chance. Fate seem not to like the ideal of Negi finding him.
No spoilers please.
