Oh, wow, Asuna and Negi are such beasts the way they came in. The fighting was okay, but the dialogue wasn't fit for fighting. Guess Akamatsu's still getting used to combat manga.

If this was a more adult manga, that look on Negis face would usually mean "someone's about to lose a few arms and internal organs". Awesomely badass.

BOOBIES! mwa hahahaha! I love that mage guy~ This chap was as good as I thought it would be. Negi and Asuna are gonna school these guys without breaking a sweat.

Negi looks like he entered beast mode.....Dam i honestly hope this part gets animated.

The four bounty hunters are members of an underground group known as the Black Hounds. These Black Hounds are after Setsunna and Kaede. They were only using Nodoka and her companions as hostages to set up a trap for Kaede and Setsunna. The four did not suspect to get into a fight with Negi and Asuna. Kaede and Setsunna were sent in first before Asuna and Negi.

The four have wasted their money on the magic mine. Now, they have to face the strongest fighters of the Al Alba. Negi still needs to be careful while he uses his dark power. The Black Hounds are not aware of how strong his powers are now.

Jack seems to have been aware of the strengths of the Black Hounds. It is likely that Jack is testing Negi, and trying to get someone's attention.

219 would surely be explosive! I just hope those guys doesn't give up so easily so we can see more blood! I just wish to see him in "dark mode" while in Nagi form :P

This chapter was awesome!
We got to see Nodoka's artifacts in actions with the help of other tools.
Can't wait to see Negi's new powers, too.
The Black Hounds are basically screwed.
I wonder who's fighting who.

Didn't really like this chapter. Kind of disappointing. I was really expecting that Negi would start to kick buts with dark powers right here, right now. Oh yeah, and what about Nodoka's companions. That bugs me too. <Sigh> Oh, well, let us wait for the next chapter.

P. S. The three of these mercenaries didn't turn out to be that evil. One of them even thinks and cares about his mother. As for the fourth... I wonder ih he is a descendant of a tentacle demon.

P. P. S Looking at this Large-area-coverage-lighting-land mine and at Asuna dispelling it makes me wonder how much was she used during the war for the purpose of Magical-massive-destruction-weaponry neutralization.

P. P. P. S. I guess unless Negi's dark power will go out of control the Black Hounds are indeed screwed.
