Asuna's past seems to be so bad as Jack prefer to have her memories erased. Now, I'm wondering...what could that bad past be?
Basing from Jack's teasing on Negi, I think He and Nagi share the same perverted and idiotic attitude, you think??? Hmmm...
about asuna past it's more likely that her past is a sad one so rakan & company thinks is for her best that she won't recover her memory in that way both she and negi will be able to return to the happy school life...
if you watch the chapters where were shown asuna past she was emotionless except in one scene u.u
Asuna did go berserk after she had recall a part of Gateau's death during the Mahora Martial Arts Tournament. Rakan feels that some of Asuna's memories are negative. Yet, Asuna needs to regain some of her lost memories. She needs the help of a healer who specializes in lost memories. I think that Konoke has the ability to help Asuna with her lost memories. At the moment, Kokone is still learning about her healing powers.
As fun as discussing Asuna's past is, I can't help but wonder what the consequences will be for Asuna and everyone around her. Were there any hints in chapters dealing with her past that there might something dark that they feel she's better off not knowing? I mean Rakan's going to lengths a little too great to cover up a simple tragic backstory. Maybe it's related to her power. Because up till now we haven't really had an exact measure of how powerfull she actually was before they wiped her memories.
Then again maybe I'm overthinking this and the Crimson wing just really really cared about her that much and would prefer she be happy.
I kinda wondered also if maybe Asuna did something awful in the past.

Rakan seemed to know quite much about Asuna, as supposed to his "lack of knowledge" on Fate's purposes.
I'm starting to think he's intentionally hiding stuff.
Besides, when Negi mentioned Auverruncus' name, he seemed to be very learned.
takahata: You meant Konoka, right? Kokone is Misora's partner.
I think I can also agree with evil peepz used Asuna as a weapon.
Hmmm, Could Chisame knew something about Asuna's past???
It is likely that Rakan is trying to hide something very important from Negi as well as Asuna's lost past. Since Asuna was a member of the Crimson Wing, she will likely recall someone whom Negi is not suppose to know at the moment. That only person is Negi's mother. Two possible theories about Negi's mother are:
(1) She is the big boss
(2) She is the mystery member.
At the moment, we don't know what happen to Negi's mother.
I think in the we can expect Tosaka to do either
1) go tell Ako that Nagi is in fact the "terrorist" Negi
2) try to blackmail Negi
The first option seems more likely, what with Ako's declaration to Negi, Chisame specifically telling Negi not to tell Ako, Tosaka's jealous outburst at Ako, and his discovery of Negi's identity, all in the last 2 chapters.
Takahata: you say that at every new chapter. I'm just as curious as you are about Negi's mother and the mystery member, but as far as we know Negi's mother could have died giving birth to him, and the mystery member could have been the Thousand Master's teenage sidekick or something. Or even Fate Avernicus.
