Tosaka could also be attracted to the bounty. Also Negi is supposed to be the "wanted bad guy" who destroyed the gate pods. My guess is that Tosaka would try and turn Negi/Nagi in.

a better plot would be : they kick Kagetaro's ass, Negi and Kotaro win then Tosaka reveals to everyone in the crowd that "Hey everyone! That fricking imposter Nagi is actually the 300,000 Drachma wanted man Negi Springfield! Everyone, capture him!" then Negi and Kotaro fight off the how-many-fricking bounty hunters then Asuna joins em and carnage ensues... XD

    ^ That's kinda brutal.

FYI: Tosaka manages Negi's fight, if he do that, he'll lose money, instead of having it (since many will be interested on the bounty).

I didn't like the ideal of Negi and the others being fugitives. The ideal of Negi and the others becoming fugitives was a surprising plot twist. The plot twist work because it made the Magic World story arc a little more exciting. Only a few on the Magic World are aware of Negi being Nagi's son.

Tosaka seems to be the type to go after the bounty. Yet, he is Negi's manager. Tosaka has just found out that Negi is a powerful mage. Only a child of Nagi will be a powerful magi at a young age. All Tosaka has to do is to figure out the connection between Negi/Nagi and Nagi Springfield.

All Tosaka can do is to protect Negi and the others. He invested a lot of time in training Negi and Kotario. He must deal with Jack Rakan as well.

Guys we're all talking about what would happen to Negi. What about Asuna? If she has as much history in the Magic World as we all know now wouldn't she be as much a priority target as Negi if anyone figures out who she is? The lost princess of Ostia is probably as big a deal as the son of the thousand master.

takahata: I agree. I bet Negi, now a high-level mage can bring him more money compared to the bounty, and his mom, Dolnegus favor Negi's companions. He should've realized that.

Farmer: Though I think Asuna's much bigger deal than Negi both of them aren't much of a primary target. That title goes to Konoka for her tremendous magical powers which is said that's much stronger than Nagi will be used by the villains on their ambitions. Yes, I meant Fate's bosses.

I still think that Negi isn't at a respectable strength yet. According to Rakan's accurate chart, he is only at 1/6th of Fate's strength. In order to jobs like bounty, you'd atleast have to be at 3/4ths that strength, because Fate isn't even that strong. He's a survivor of the war.

Also, I still think that Asuna is a stronger key, that "Fate's Bosses", will use. I still feel like there's something about her strength that was unexplained, even stronger taht Konoka. She was a princess.

^ Asuna maybe a princess, but Konoka carries a great deal of magic. Wilheim said: Given adequate training, Konoka could be the one who can undo the petrification spell that he cast upon Negi's villagers. He also stressed that Konoka's powers are even stronger than Nagi. Chigusa used Konoka to awaken a powerful demon, and possibly Fate's bosses are planning the same for still unknown reason.

Negi is only 1/6 of Fate's power BEFORE Jack Rakan presented him powers (light or darkness) that will help him on his fights. What Negi's power after receiving those powers (he chose darkness) remains to be seen.

He did present him with power, but do you think that that training and power would really boost him to six times the strength?

Well, it's dark power, so it should give Negi at least 4 times his power. Who would've learned it at such a risk, if it could be easily topped by simply having a normal amount of friends? Except for Negi of course, he isn't being smart there.
Besides, Racan was talking about catching up to Ala Rubra when he was describing the light path. So one can assume that darkness should get Negi to that level as well, only quicker.
