Kind of... Baka-power? Asuna has it in spades. The kind of recklessness Nagi and Asuna show, their devil-may-care attitude... That's what he lacks. He overthinks things, basically.
Why that's a bad thing, I don't know...
Haha its true that compared to Asuna, Negi thinking too much and too far thus he rarely act right on and that conclusion lead Negi to more confusion and ended up forcing himself and making everyone worried. Maybe Kotarou think that Negi need to think less about it and just act it out....?
My opinion is that he is too concerned about everything and therefore tries to handling everything himself. What they are saying is he needs confidence (both in himself and his companions) and the focus to only consider only what is important now and leave the rest for later.
I think Negi doesn't really want to hurt anyone. He needs to let that go.
^ didn't eva already tell him that during the festival arc?.....negi isn't a good listener it seems....maybe the kiss killed it.
Because he overthinks things, maybe he slows down a bit? I don't know, but I guess it just works for them.

Is it really that big of a deal whether Negi lacks 'idiocy' or not? The fact that Kotaru doesn't even recall the finer points of the subject conversation means that even he didn't put much thought into the matter. I think that Negi should not go into 'super angsty' mode all the time and be confident and decisive where it matters. He is still too young to angst, save it for when you hit puberty Negi XD .
Its nice to know that Yuuna and Maki found a safe haven with welcoming locals. A good excuse to show them in maid uniforms. Nice, Ken (2x thumbs UP).
i guess that whitehairBigGuy gonna join the competition and bash negi up a few like how colonel does... or maybe bounty hunt negi and surprise him when he get hold of him =P
