Thread: Chapter 195. /spoiler alert?!

Kinda pissed that the sickness and expensive medicine was real. But it just about comfirms the 'legality' of the situation I've 'discussed' in the ch 194 thread . And it looks like one of my predictions is coming true for Negi to earn that 1 mil...... "bring on the tournament!!!" WOOO!!!

But poor Vargas, hehehe, I almost feel sorry for him...NOT, hahah, serves him right that bragging, beefheaded thug.

in that backwater place, both Negi and Kota are going to earn first and second place... nah there is probably going to appear a strong guy and beat kota with a nifty trick and crap...

Looks like they were able to squeeze Takamichi and Mana into the story. But the question is, are they going to help search for Negi and his party, or try to unravel the conspiracy that's manipulating things behind the scenes?

OR... are they gonna participate in the hunt on the surface but in reality, are gonna investigate for Fate... hmm... anyway... here's a linky... sorry if it's the 8th page cause I was still reading it... lulz... damn crappy Dial-up...

Here comes the cliched tournament.

well, I really like that Mana has appeared (don't care to much for Takamichi)... As I thought, no explanations to Ako whatsoever. Kind of funny how the winner of the tournament gets EXACLTLY a million dramas (?). In the end, I really hope it's not another martial arts tournament...

Hmm...the ol' tournament trick. Great for shounen mangakas because it's bound to fill up a few chapters, but I thought Ken already exhausted that option with the mahora festival...hmm. Hopefully the big baddie of the tourney will be able to fill in some plot points.
It seems the characters are getting a bit over-powered, like in dragon ball z. Hopefully Ken is just exadurating their power a bit for show during this chapter, but we shall see. Hopefully this won't degrade into madness like DBZ did, that would be unfortunate.

They only seem overpowered because they are in some backwater hole. The strongest of mages would be out in the mundy world or guarding some high up official, not in a crappy tournament at the edge of civilization. I say either some former big wigs guard is the guy at the end who happened to run into the thousand master or the touney is just some dues ex machina so Negi can get the money to free his students and be on his way with the story. But I digress, they only seem stronger than they should be because the people they are fighting are too weak.

They should try and tame some magical beasts and bring them back as pets, or maybe kotarou should hook up with another one of them anthro beast-womans :P. It would be pretty plain if they won the competition too easily though, so i do hope there would be a little something extra that would push the story along just a little bit more, like information about Nagi or some sort of revelation.

IMO Takamichi will be probably involved in Asunas plot, and we will probably learn something new about her past... At least I hope so...

And for the tournament, I don't think it will be a long story...
