I r psychic animalia555... :) joke...
Seriously though... Negi's gonna have to do alot of explaining to Ako... I mean.. Ako's one of the people who has hots for the teenage Negi after all...
Off-topic : there's a bug in stoptazmo... sometimes when I log in... I try to input a message but it says that I have performed an illegal action when I post it... when I refresh it... it says that I'm not logged in even though I was a few minutes ago...>_>
Wow. I'm hearing an echo in this thread.
Negi will have to explain to Ako. Negi will have to explain to Ako. Negi will have to explain to Ako.
I seriously never knew that whenever I said something it would echo.
And if you have problems don't post in this thread.
I don't think a bunch of noobs here can help you.
I don't know about the explanation. Ako is ill and the other girls thinks that is a very realistic dream. But who knows :P
about the slave status... i think negi and co. will just beat the crap outta the owner until they release them... just to be an *idiot* like his dad i think thats what negi is going to do... since he lacks idiocy why not act like an idiot now XD
the explaining to ako thing will be unpredictable... dunno how he is gonna pull it off
^Why do you people keep forgeting that Negi (unlike Nagi) is currently a teacher, a very responsible role. Do you all want Negi behaving like an idiot that much? No wonder the same things are getting echoed in this thread. You people probably don't even read the things posted on this thread like why Negi must avoid further attention, keeping a clean slate for Ako & co.'s sakes, and and resolving the matter in a non-forceful manner. This should be a prime example of the good guys getting screwed over by unfair tactics but still able to pull a miracle by winning despite their disadvantageous condition.
You keep forgetting keeping slaves is a BAD thing. And your criminal status exists only within a country, not leaving its borders unless you have made some grave offence. And freeing slaves is definely not a crime in a no-slaves country.
Besides, it's not just keeping slaves. It's revealing Magic World's existance (by making the girls not present in the human one). And this crime is definitely punishable.
Im just saying since negi keeps hearing his dad was an idiot there is a chance that he will act like one in this particular event. Im not ruling out negi will sit down and have a cup of tea with the owner to discuss about the slave status of his students, or most probably the owner will ask him for something in return for freeing them. Besides no matter how you look at it those 3 will definitely not think this is just a dream =/ so negi is already in a very tight spot + he is already a fugitive...
its probably going to turn out that they were conned and that she would have gotten better anyway and that the medicine was fake

Plus laws in such remote 'lawless' places are more or less enforced by way of the 'bounties' if you haven't noticed. Bounties hunters exist here if you haven't forgotten. They hunt down bounties outside the law's areas of juristiction. Fleeing does not mean you won't be hunted. If the slaver are wealthy enough, they could easily provide their own bounty post on Negi and co. (most likely as bad guys don't like be done over by ANYONE). At worse Negi will even get a bounty on his 15 y.o disguised self. The last thing he needs is unnecessary attention from ANYONE, especially the law (who will more likely arrest him than help him save slaves).
Lastly, what exactly are you saying in that last two sentences? It doesn't make sense. I think its pretty obvious to the girls that they ARE in a magic world by looking around and seeing all the NONHUMANS. Revealing? How can the slavers reveal what it isn't already obvious? Plus the law will definately punish the girls than the slaves for keeping non-magic world citizens. Do you know what 'fugitive' means? The girls came to Magic world without the proper authority and documentations. All the slavers will get are a slap on the wrist or nothing at all since Ako and co. are registers as slaves "DUE TO DEBT". Ako on the otherhand will most likely be apprehended and the last people Negi will want to deal with to release Ako is the law.
If their laws have any sence of decency / humanity in them if Negi can prove that the "Debt" was under false pretences the slavers will more then likely be at fault and held responsible. I'm thinking if the girls have some of the so called potion left Negi may end up identifying it as a placebo and therefore worthless making the slavers loose their claim to be having to be paid back. Even if the potion was somewhat legitimate and easy to reproduce, Negi can just make more and pay them back in that maner.

I'm also starting to think that all the mages at the school are a bunch of hypocrites... whats with this talk of mages having a duty to help the human world when their own world is so screwed up and unlawfull. Before they go help others I think they should be fixing their own problems before they can go preaching to others.
