So if Asuna isn't the Princess of the Dusk as you say takahata, then what princess IS Asuna?

in ch169 princess of dusk is asuna, not that girl with the bat like familiar. In the panel that girl was on, she was talking about the affect of magic cancel and that the royal princess of dusk in responsible for it.

As for nagi being royal blood i highly doubt it, nagis behavior doesn't really correspond to any royalty, nor has their been any hint to it of any sort.

I always assumed the magic world was split into various nations, so having various other royalties present wouldn't surprise me.

Nagi is not a member of any royal family. The Springfields are a very powerful family of magi. Because we don't know much about Negi's mother, I am merely speculating that she is a member of the Imperial Family. There are a variety of nations on the Magic World. (Spoiler) The city where Negi is in is considered to be an outlaw city. Nagi did visit the city in the past.

I assumed that the Imperial Family are a lot like the Japanese Imperial Family, and the British Royal family. Unlike the Britiish Royal Family, The Imperial Family of the Magic World may have more power.

I do wonder how Nagi can win the love of an actual princess. He seems to be very childish and has a big ego. Negi is more like his mysterious mother than his his own father.

I have started this thread to gather any information on the Magic World. So far, the Magic World does have rules which focus on Indenture Servitude. Laws which can be easily abuse by a few people. The thug who is the master of Akira, Natsumi, and Azo is abusing the law.

Why does Japan have to have a gate. Wouldn't China be a more relevant place for a gateway. and if there was any reason for them to use the gateway in Wales it was because that's where Nagi's trail lead them to and it is where Negi is from. I don't think there's any other deeper reasons for using it other that.

Since most of the spells are chanted in Latin or in Ancient Greek I was thinking more in the lines of Mt. Olympus or somewhere in Rome.... the only thing closer to magic native to Britain are the stone henge and druid activity.

ONly one gate in britain seems abit racist to me, and if that is the gate in the west, then there should be a gate in the east as well, maybe in Japan, Korea, or China.

The magical world itself seems abit racially unequal too since it is mostly western in style.
How is it racist? Portal locations have nothing to do with race. And this manga kinda focuses on Western magical concepts more than Eastern ones anyway. That's the intention of the creator, and is not biased at all.
Since there are two different types of magical concepts for the East and West, it would make sense that there are portals in both. Negi probably chose the Wales portal because it was the closest to where he last saw Nagi.

She's a princess, but the Princess of the Dusk is probably some other girl mage who gave herself a fancy name. Like that fag Chris Crocker who calls herself the Queen of Ghetto. I just want to punch her in the face, too bad I can't punch girls.

Japan does have a gate. It transported Takahata and Mana over to the Magic world. The location of the Japan must be be near the Mahora Academy.

When it comes to Fate's mission, it was focus on destroying the terminal. Fate did not suspect Negi being at the Wales gate. Negi used the Wales gate because it was closer to his hometown. Negi visit his hometown in order to collect some information on his father.

Fate's mission seem to be mostly focus on preventing Takahata and Mana from coming to the Magic World. Takahata and Mana were able to arrive unharm before the gate terminal. It seems the Big Boss didn't want Takahata to come to the Magic world for some reason.

Or Fate destroyed the Gate so that Negi wouldn't be able to get home or have assistance from Earth.

didn't fate say that negi wasn't apart of his objective that time? when the terminal was destroyed he said his mission was through. he destroyed the terminal to:
    1. probably destroy evidence of their presence since all other guards were knocked out as soon as they showed themselves.

    2. give Negi a hard time just for kicks. He did say that the forced transmission magic and any hardships afterwards were a "gift" from him.

The lack of assistance thing from mahora was probably icing on the cake. He basically rapes negi and his party then laughs in his face and runs before they really even got to fight.

I have started this thread to focus on information about the Magic World. Here is a summary of what I know about the magic world.

Government is a Constitutional Monarchy. Info from Ch.169

Most of the citizens of the Magic World don't care about the Old World Earth.

One of the favorite sports is tournament prize fighting. Ch.196-198

Has slavery in a form of indenture sevitude

    Old Capital is Ostria

Ostria is lot like Kyoto. now, a tourist orientated city.

Ostria was almost destroyed during the last magic war.

Twelve Magic Gates. Eleven are inactive and severly damage as a result of Fate's attack.

One Magic gate is inactive in the Old Capital of Ostria.

One gate located near Mahora Academy. Another located near the Wales Magic Academy.

Has weird creatures. One herbivore with an appetite for clothing. Flying Whales.

Technology above the current level of Earth's. A blend of magic and technology.

According to Chamo in Ch. 169, the Magic World is like Edo Period Japan.

Horses and other creatures pulling wagons and carts.

I will like anyone to add more information to this thread. For example, the name of the present Capital of the Magic World, and what Magic Worlder's call anyone form the Old World Earth.
