fate and the monster are connected, the old guy went to test asuna's ability for magic cancel, kotarou coincidentally found out, and stole the bottle.
If you read back to the yuuna only chapter, her dad and the blond woman, mentioned a connection with fate and the demon.
If you think back, fate met asuna, found out about magic cancel, and demon guy was sent to check.
i think the main baddie is related to asuna in some way...
fate dont care about asuna , in the chapter when negi was send to the jungle , he has a vision all converted in stone and after that fate cut asuna in 2

is clearly show that the ability to cancel magic is far from being flawless, in the flash back when loli asuna absorbs the huge magic attack from the flying whale she started to bleed, and that is when nagi got pissed at the mages that were using her as a shield and told them he would take care of all the small fries attacking the castle.Quote:
