Negi's family

We do know that Negi has a family. So far, the only members of his family whom we have seen in the series are Negi's own father Nagi, his cousin Nekane, his Uncle in Volume 8, and his future descendent Chao. I had thought that the Magus was one of Negi's two grandfathers, but he turn out to be another character.

I am not upset that Ken is ignoring Negi's family. It will be a good ideal to find out more about Negi's own family. All Ken has to do to add an occasional tibit which helps us to know more about Negi's own family. I do suspect that Negi's own family must be a powerful family of Magi.

We have mixed opinions over the fate of Negi's mother. Negi seems not to remember anything about his mother. Some of you feel that Negi's mother has died sometime in the past. Some of us feel that Negi's mother is still alive. Her current whereabouts are unknown at the present time.

I want to hear your opinions on Negi's family. Negi's family is a very important part of the series.

He won't for a while, now they're focusing on the Magic World Arc.

atrum is right he is more focus in magic world arc , maybe he gonna have time to explain more of his family

hopefully ken will get to it eventually. i mean they are searching for his father but don't mention his mother. maybe a few other relatives will pop up.

Maybe nobody ever told Negi he should have a mother? or anything about his mother. So the idea he should look for her never got to him.

maybe he doesn't have a mother and was conceived through artifical insemation and was born as a test tube subject.

That could be possible, considering time travel possibility in the series.

The time travel version was discussed somewhere around here already... please, don't start again...or at least bring up that tread...
discussing time travel results in huge confusing posts... and since everyone is using a different idea of time travel, this brings us nowhere. During the whole festival arc, nobody did a thing exactly like that, so no arguments can be derived from the manga.
Luckily, time travel is over now, so we can rest safely.

As for Negi remembering Nagi's memories, it should be strange to say the least. Why there would be Nekane in Nagi's memories? Or is it Nekane's mother?

Besides, Negi got shown all those petrified villagers. And he could find Anya's mother among them. So at least until Nagi's arrival, the story is Negi's.
