Well a bunch of new chapters are out and near the end of them we get a new character, Anya a childhood friend of Negi's who is, of course, female.

Me too considering she knows next to nothing about Negi's current situation and status in the magic world e.g 8 pactio partners, encounters with demons, enemy wizards and blood related aversary. She's probaly holding out on making a pactio because she wants Negi to be her first .
